Councilman Johnson, NEORSD The Martin Luther King, Jr playground, located on Elk Avenue at East 107th Street, has been upgraded by the Councilman Jeff Johnson Improve MLK Playground Regional Sewer District (NEORSD) and Councilman Jeff Johnson. New sewer work has been completed, and areas of the MLK, Jr. playground have been upgraded. An extended green space has also been added as well as a natural barrier at East 107 street, allowing for the removal of the guard rails. Phase two of the playground restoration will be announced soon by Councilman Johnson. Many thanks to the NEORSD!
