There will be a maximum draw of 64 players per category. The TD reserves the right to amalgamate age groups if there are insufficient entries to make a workable draw. Players are only allowed to enter one category. European Squash ID (ESID) All players, coaches, managers and other officials must be registered with ESF. This must be approved and validated by the relevant MNF. The MNF is responsible for ensuring that all players, coaches, managers and other officials are registered with ESF prior to entry, and their entry is fully Eye Norwegian Junior Open 2019 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ supported. Register for a ESID through the ESF tournament software website: https://esf.tournamentsoftware.com/member/createorganizationaccount.aspx?id=8B5D0106- 404D41C3-B2FB-E6FE1BCEAB52 Coaches All team or individual player coaches designated by their nation as part of their event onsite management team (solely, or in attendance with an appointed team manager) at any Championship held under the auspices of ESF must be ESF Registered i.e. have a ESF European Squash ID as their licence to attend in a formal representative role. This is required at the time of them being registered to attend by their national federation Draws and seeding The seeding and schedules will be published on Rankedin, see link. The seeding and draw will be carried out using the ESF rankings valid at the tournament closing date in accordance with the ESF Junior Circuit Guidelines Section D. The seeding lists and time of the first matches for specific age groups will be published at least 5 days prior to the start date. There will be a maximum draw of 64 players per category. Matches All matches played will consist of the best of five games, under the rules of the WSF. All players are guaranteed a minimum of three matches. PAR 11 scoring (to 2 clear points) will be used. Refereeing Both players will be expected to mark and referee matches. Clothing Players must wear suitable squash attire including non-marking shoes. Eye Protection It is mandatory for approved eye protection to be worn at all times during competition play, including the knock up at this event. Players will not be allowed to compete without approved eye protection. Recording of matches/Web Publishing/Live Streaming The recording of matches for coaching/performance analysis purposes is acceptable provided the player and/or their parents/coaches do not object. The streaming will be published at YouTube and/or at Facebook. The Junior Open will be publishing draws, results, photos of players as well as live streaming. In all other categories, there will be gift/trophies and gift prizes. Insurance Players enter and play in the tournament at their own risk. Neither the organisers nor the ESF will accept responsibility for any claims including for injury or accident. Suitable insurance must be organised by the player or the participating federation. There are also bus routes to/from the venue and to/from the hotel. See details below. Eye Norwegian Junior Open 2019 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ General transport information: You can fly to Oslo Airport (Gardermoen), and from there you can get the train directly to Lysaker station, see link (it takes approximately 30 min). There is a 2 min walk from Lysaker train station to Lysaker squash Center. You can easily travel between the Squash center and hotel by bus. See details below. Safeguarding, health and safety Adults interacting with juniors in the organisation and running of ESF Junior Circuit events are in a position of trust and influence. They should always ensure that junior players are treated with integrity and respect. Tournaments should be run in a safe, positive and encouraging atmosphere. The Tournament Director and Tournament Referee should be trained in safeguarding children according to the host MNA national standards for child protection. The health and safety of all persons (players, officials, spectators, tournament staff) involved in or attending a tournament is of paramount importance. The host MNA is responsible for ensuring an appropriate plan is in place for the tournament. ESF Regulations & Penalties The tournament is part of the ESF Junior Circuit and will be run in accordance with the ESF Junior Guidelines, a copy of which is available on the ESF website www.europeansquash.com. MNAs should make sure that all relevant people (including coaches, managers and players) are aware of the Guidelines and their requirements. The tournament will be run under the terms and conditions as set out in ESF Regulations: Code of Conduct - The tournament will be run under the terms and conditions as set out in EUROPEAN SQUASH FEDERATION PRIVACY POLICY as published on the ESF website www.europeansquash.com A late withdrawal is a withdrawal made 2 days or less before the start date of the tournament. Ranking penalties may be applied to the records of the players who fail to turn up or who make a late withdrawal not supported by a medical certificate. Please note: The medical certificate must clearly state the players name, date of birth and nature of the illness/injury.

    PRESS RELEASE 23 APRIL 2020 Ruter and the Municipality of Bærum sign micromobility contract with TIER TIER has been confirmed as the new supplier of micromobility solutions for the Municipality of Bærum. The municipality’s bike hire scheme will now be expanding to include electric scooters and electric bicycles. Ruter, the Public Transport Authority of Oslo and the former Akershus region, has entered into a public-public collaboration with the Municipality of Bærum. The purpose of the collaboration is to establish a wide range of mobility services for Bærum. The procurement process has now been concluded, with TIER GmbH being selected as the municipality’s supplier of micromobility solutions. – This will be the first time Ruter integrates micromobility solutions into our existing public transport system. Our collaboration with the municipality is working very well, and we believe this is going to be an important step towards the future of mobility services," says Endre Angelvik, director of mobility services at Ruter. The partnership’s plan is to integrate shared e-bikes and e-scooters into the existing public transport system – first in Lysaker, Sandvika and Fornebu in 2020, then in other parts of the municipality during springtime next year. Ruter and the municipality of Bærum intend for the new micromobility scheme to become a valuable and safe addition to the environments where they are introduced. To this end, the partnership will aim to keep in close touch with the municipality’s general population, for purposes of receiving feedback and making adjustments.
