A series CARNIC ALPS of well-equipped Alpine Huts allows one to go easily use the many well-marked trails and are base camp to two high-alti- AND tude itineraries of extraordinary beauty; the Carnia Traverse and the Alta Via delle Alpi Carniche. The Tita Piaz Alpine Hut, at the base of Monte Tinsia, is the starting area for splen- did excursions that captures the essence of the Carnic Alps.
