Se e quando ci si dovesse invece avventurare verso nuovi orizzonti espres- sivi, sempre aperti quando si parla di una realtà, come quella sportiva, nel quale nascono e si espandono nel mondo nuove discipline con le loro particolari e spe- cifiche terminologie, non ci sono comunque problemi di sorta: il friulano è in possesso di tutti gli strumenti necessari per creare eventuali neologismi o per adattare parole nuove. -

While the hegemonic ideology surrounding sport is that it brings different people together and ameliorates social boundaries, sociologists of sport have shown this to be a gross simplification. Instead, sport is often seen to reinforce and recreate social stereotypes and boundaries, especially as it regards race and the black athlete in body and culture. At best we can think of sport as a contested terrain for both maintaining and challenging racial norms and boundaries. The mediated black athlete has thus always, for better or worse, impacted popular white perceptions of blackness broadly and globally. While much work has been done to expose the workings of race and racism in sport, studies have tended to homogenize black populations and have not taken into account the varying histories and complexities of, specifically, black African migrant athletes. -

Se quello del calcio al femminile è un mondo fatto di migliaia di tifose, il 54,8% delle donne italiane[1], l'immagine di una bambina che decide di indossare gli scarpini e scendere in campo è ancora considerata una sorta di tabù. Come se il calcio fosse parte di quei "mestieri" che gli stereotipi più radicati ancora considerano di esclusiva pertinenza maschile. Eppure, le statistiche rivelano altro. Nel Paese in cui si impazzisce per i calciatori e in cui le donne, nel calcio, fanno notizia solo quando sono loro fidanzate, il numero delle ragazze che mettono gli scarpini e "sognano Beckham" negli ultimi 6 anni ha conosciuto un vero e proprio boom, con un aumento del 72%[2]. Ecco perché su questo mondo, poco conosciuto ma in grande fermento, è venuto il momento di accendere definitivamente i riflettori e far luce su un movimento che in Italia, a differenza degli altri Paesi europei, resta confinato all'ambito dilettantistico, dove le calciatrici per vivere sono costrette a svolgere un'altra attività ed indossare gli scarpini solo a fine giornata, per continuare ad inseguire il sogno di poter, un giorno, vivere di calcio. -
