This study provides a validation of EMBU-C on Pakistani adolescents. 1279 adolescents were selected through multistage sampling with the age range of 12-18 (M 13.93, SD 1.83). The participants were given a modified version of EMBU-C Muris, Meesters, van Brakel, 2003), School Children Problem Scale (SCPS, Saleem Mahmood, 2011) and a demographic performa. The result showed that EMBU-C produced almost similar factorial structure to the original (4 factors). The EMBU-C was found to have satisfactory internal consistency and proved a reliable and valid scale for Pakistani culture. The results revealed that perceived Parental Warmth was found to be a negative predictor and Parental Rejection was found to be a positive predictor of mental health problems (p 0.001). The results are discussed in terms of gender differences and cultural and clinical implication of parental rearing practices.
The quest for causes of emotional and behavioral problems and psychopathology in children and adolescents always led us to childhood. The early child-parent relationship starts shaping from infancy, and is considered as an essential factor for the growth and development of children (Eisenberg, Spinrad, Eggum, 2010). There are three main strands of investigations into parent-child relationship in the consequences in later life. Among the most popular is Bowlby's Attachment Theory (Bowlby, 1973) which emphasizes the stability and the quality of relationship as the main determinant of healthy attachment. Second approach to study parent-child relationship is Parenting Styles that include Authoritative, Authoritarian and Permissive parenting styles (Baumrind, 1966) having differential impact on the mental health of the adolescents. The third one is Perceived Parental Rearing Practices (Muris, Meesters, Merckelbach, H lsenbeck, 2000) that claims four distinctive rearing practices namely Overprotection, Warmth, Rejection and Favoring subjects.
As the interest in studying the association between dysfunctional parenting and mental health increased, numerous instruments have been developed to measure parental practices of rearing. Among the most frequently used measures is The Egna Minnen Betr ffande Uppfostran (EMBU ‘My memories of upbringing’) is one of the most widely used measures to assess perceived parental rearing behaviors. EMBU was originally developed to measure adult memories of their upbringing (Perris, Jacobsson, Lindstr m, von Knorring, Perris. 1980). This scale has been widely used cross- culturally and has demonstrated acceptable psychometric properties (Arrindell, Perris, Van Der Ende, Gaszner, Eisemann, Perris, 1989).

Encourage Communication Between Departments Collaboration between members of different departments often results in creative solutions for problems. Interdepartmental communication facilitates trust and prevents conflict.
Organize Brainstorming Sessions IBM has found the innovation jam to be quite successful. You do not need to run a global enterprise to benefit from companywide collaboration. Give your employees regular opportunities to bounce ideas off each other.
Engage Employees by Encouraging Them to Share Creative Ideas Employees should be encouraged to continually share their ideas with supervisors and each other. Find the most effective method of communication for your organization. You may want to create a type of suggestion box or schedule time at the end of meetings for people to share their ideas.
Do Not Force People to be Innovative Creativity can be encouraged but not compelled. Forcing people to present creative ideas at certain times will not bring true innovation. Rather, create a number of different incentives to draw out creativity. Innovative ideas could be rewarded financially, with opportunities for advancement or any other incentive you have found effective for your employee base.
Remain Flexible and Forgiving Inflexible environments discourage innovation. Innovation often involves taking risks. Encourage employees to think outside the box and implement ideas without interference. Additionally, do not punish employees if ideas are unsuccessful.
Keep Track of Company Innovations Many leaders in upper management lose interest in supporting creativity and innovation because they do not bother to keep track of past innovations. Knowing how many employee innovations have been implemented and how successful they are, presents a clear picture of the financial benefits of employee creativity. Keeping track of innovations will also indicate whether any alterations need to be made to recently implemented programs or the company culture.

In a short span of merely a couple of months, Marshals has established Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) by acquiring the necessary training from the Punjab Emergency Services Academy at the UMT Campus. Marshals are also in process of working with the Punjab Police in order to establish the Police Qaumi Razaaqar (PQR) Teams.
