The merger of two societies, the American Society for Head and Neck Surgery and the Society of Head and Neck Surgeons, formed the American Head and Neck Society. The American Head and Neck Society remains dedicated to the common goals of its parental organizations: • To promote and advance the knowledge of prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of neoplasms and other diseases of the head and neck • To promote and advance research in diseases of the head and neck, and • To promote and advance the highest professional and ethical standards IFHNOS MISSION IFHNOS is a global organization established through cooperation of national and regional Societies and Organizations in the Specialty of Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology with membership from national and regional multidisciplinary organizations, representing 65 countries. The purpose of the Federation is to provide a common platform for Specialists in the field of Head and Neck Cancer to interact in professional matters of mutual interest. The Federation conducts quadrennial global Congresses involving multidisciplinary Specialists in Head and Neck Cancer in various parts of the world. General Information TOC 7 GENERAL INFORMATION continued BUSINESS CENTER There is a business center in the hotel located on the 8th Floor. INTERNET ACCESS Attendees of the conference will have access to free wi-fi internet in the meeting space. E-POSTERS E-Posters are located on the 5th Floor in the foyer and the exhibit hall in the Westside Ballroom. CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE Certificates of Attendance can be picked up with badge ID from the Registration Desk. BADGES Badges will be required for admittance to all events. Badges must be worn and visible at all times. Report lost badges to the registration staff. CONCESSIONS The AHNS will provide attendees with a continental breakfast each morning prior to the start of the session, excluding Saturday. A morning coffee break and an afternoon beverage break will also be provided all days of the week during the designated break times in the Exhibit Hall located in Westside Ballroom 5th Floor. A free attendee lunch will be available on Monday in Westside Ballroom 5th Floor during the lunch hour. AHNS Members, please note the same lunch will be provided to you during your Business Meeting
