Artelectric, the New Project by Leasys, Is Born First Partnership Signed with the Reggia Di Venaria ARTELECTRIC, THE NEW PROJECT BY LEASYS, IS BORN FIRST PARTNERSHIP SIGNED WITH THE REGGIA DI VENARIA ● ArtElectric, the green project by Leasys to support and enhance art and culture by creating tourist itineraries with electric mobility, is born. ● The first partnership with the Reggia di Venaria for the installation of 8 electric vehicle charging stations for Leasys customers has been signed. Turin, 30 July 2020 The first partnership between Leasys, a leading company in the mobility sector that is part of the FCA Bank Group, and the Reggia di Venaria, a Savoy royal residence declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO and managed by the Consorzio delle Residenze Reali Sabaude, has been signed. This partnership is the first step in the new ArtElectric project by Leasys, aimed at supporting and enhancing art and culture by creating tourist itineraries including the Royal Palaces, Art Residences and Italian Historic Houses, by establishing and implementing a widespread network of Leasys charging stations supporting green mobility for the electric and hybrid cars produced by the FCA Group. ArtElectric is part of the Residences of the Royal House of Savoy because of its deep roots in the local area and its relationship with art and culture. Its ambition is to quickly become a project with a national and international scope in which the combination of tourism and art is increasingly linked to green mobility, based on mutual benefits for the places of interest and customers. The partnership between Leasys and the Reggia di Venaria involves the installation of 8 charging stations at the car parks where Leasys customers who hire a car for short- or long- term use, will be able to charge their electric or hybrid cars while visiting the Palace. Also as part of this project, Leasys will develop a Corporate Social Responsibility strategy to promote Italy’s historical and artistic cultural heritage: in fact, it will donate part of its income from rentals to support the preservation of the monumental Palace complex. As far as the Reggia di Venaria is concerned, this agreement is part of an extensive project aimed at developing green mobility with a view to making the Palace, its Gardens and the entire Residences of the Royal House of Savoy complex more easily accessible to Italian and international visitors and tourists. Accessibility, environmental sustainability and energy saving are the principles which, every day, inspire the Consortium to actively contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN Agenda 2030. Thanks to the programmes launched a few years ago, the Reggia di Venaria tops the Italian ranking of cultural heritage for its sensitivity to environmental issues, and is certainly one of the most energy efficient projects, as it has reduced its greenhouse gas emissions in line with the international parameters set out at the 2015 Paris Climate Conference (COP 21). Reggia di Venaria After being restored at the behest of Charles Emmanuel II, Duke of Savoy to its former baroque glory, which had inspired it in the mid-17th century, the imposing monumental complex of the Reggia di Venaria, located on the outskirts of Turin, is now, once again, a symbol of modernity and culture. A masterpiece of architecture and landscape, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997. In 2007, it was opened to the public following an intensive restoration project, regarded as the most important in Europe in terms of cultural heritage. Since its opening, the Reggia di Venaria has become one of the most popular cultural attractions in Italy. It is now a major permanent cultural project, which also includes the nearby Castello della Mandria, immersed in a lush, centuries- old nature park, the La Mandria Regional Park. A palace open to everyone, offering opportunities to learn about and enjoy culture, presenting itself as a place where a variety of experiences can be enjoyed and training activities, exhibitions and events can be held. It therefore offers both Italian and international visitors the pleasure of discovering artistic, historic and architectural wonders in an extraordinary natural setting. The Venaria Reale complex, namely the “Palace, Gardens and Castle of La Mandria”, is managed directly by the Consorzio delle Residenze Reali Sabaude made up of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (MiBACT), the Piedmont Regional Government, the City of Venaria Reale, the Compagnia di San Paolo, and the Fondazione 1563 per l’Arte e la Cultura. The Consortium has given management autonomy to Venaria Reale with a modern administrative approach and model, aiming to involve Piedmont’s entire system of Residences of the Royal House of Savoy in its promotion and enjoyment. FCA Bank FCA Bank S.p.A. is a bank engaging mainly in car finance, with the aim to meet all mobility requirements. • Questions to the FCA GROUP Ahead of the EMIS Hearing
A 013189 15.12.2016 Committee of Inquiry into Emission Measurements in the Automotive Sector Questions to the FCA GROUP ahead of the EMIS hearing No. Question 1 Fiat Chrysler have been accused by the German authorities of using an illegal cheat device to switch off exhaust treatment systems. The KBA found that emissions treatment system was being throttled back after 22 minutes. The normal duration of the NEDC type approval test is about 20 minutes. However, you refused to appear before the KBA to explain and justify the defeat strategy used. Moreover, the Italian Ministry for Transport has said that the cars conform to current emissions rules and do not contain defeat devices. Could you please explain the rationale of the emission control strategy used and how this “meet[s] the objective of reducing NOx emissions and at the same time preserve the engine from damage and the occupants from safety risks”? We do not believe that it is appropriate for us to comment on the details of a matter which is the subject of mediation between the competent homologation Authority and the KBA and of litigation initiated by Deutsche Umwelthilfe. In general terms we can only reiterate that, as confirmed by the competent homologation Authority, the 500X complies with all applicable emission regulations. 500X meets the relevant Euro 6 limit in the regulatory NEDC test and does not detect that it is being tested. Contrary to allegations, 500X does not deactivate its emission control system after 22 minutes from cranking, but uses control strategies, which modulate the emissions control system solely to protect the integrity of the engine and the safety of the vehicle occupants in accordance with applicable regulations.
