CIRCULAR LETTER to MEMBERS

20020Arese (MI) - We would like to inform you that today, 1 February 2016, Mr. Roberto Giolito,

- manager in the FCA Group, has been formally appointed to Secretary General of our Association, as contemplated by the RIAR statute. Therefore, we are happy to give you , snc some due information about his person and his respective important professional curriculum.

@alfaromeo.com Graduated in industrial design in Rome in 1985, Mr. Giolito worked for some years as Viale Luraghi - a freelance professional in the area of design and then entered the Style Center in 1989, starting with the creation of innovative electrically powered prototypes. The first work, in which he authored both the interior and exterior design, is the Fiat registroalfa Downtown, which was presented in the Geneva Motor Show in 1993 in a perfectly Group functioning version. The following year, he designed a new electrical concept with E.mail:

- zero emissions, the Fiat Zic, which debuted at the Swiss show in 1994.

– In the same year, he started to develop a concept for a compact minivan, which would lead the company FIAT to present and produce the popular Fiat Multipla, a six-seater (only 4 meters long), with the innovative concept of two rows of seats, with three three 44428183 contiguous seats in each. In 2002, he became the first Head of the Advanced Design Center in the Fiat Group, in which the first concept car inspired on the icon of the old 500 was to take shape, Fax +39/02

In 2008, he was awarded the Eurostar 2008 by the magazine Automotive News, while the President of the Italian Republic awarded him with the prize for innovation in the Segreteria Tel.+39/02444294 Design section. In 2011, the Fiat 500 was awarded the “Golden Compass” by the ADI committee.

In 2012, he became design Vice President for the EMEA region in the Fiat Group with the task of supervising the entire range of new products of all European brands marketed by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. In 2015, he obtained the post of Head of the Heritage Division in FCA Italy, where with a dedicated team he was asked to manage and coordinate the activities and protection of the heritage of all of the Group’s historical vehicles. A post which Giolito accepted

with new enthusiasm and unchanged energy.

He is already fully operative and you will get a chance to meet him during the first of our “Meetings in the Museum” on Saturday, 12 March next on the occasion of the www.riar.it
