It is the springboard that allows us to make The Choice. Therefore in the figure on our cover, it glows the brightest of all the chakras. Dedication To Bill Hay and Denise DuBarry-Hay With love and thanks iii About the Author Carla Lisbeth Rueckert was born on July 16, 1943 in Lake Forest, IL. She grew up in Louisville, KY and graduated from the University of Louisville in 1966, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature. This was followed by a Master’s degree in Library Arts from Spalding College in 1971. Carla worked as a librarian for a thirteen-grade school until she was hired away by Don Elkins to do paranormal research. They formally created L/L Research in 1970. Carla served as a vocal channel from 1974–2011,and was the instrument for The Law Of One series. During her lifetime Carla authored and channeled thirteen published books, channeled approximately 1,500 different transcripts, sustained volumes of written and spoken correspondence with spiritual seekers, wrote poetry, danced, gardened, and sang iv About the Author with a heart full of praise and thanksgiving, both in the small moments of home life and in the church choir her entire life. Carla loved Jesus, loved serving, loved seeking, and loved life itself. She married her soulmate, Jim McCarty, in 1987, and passed away at home during Holy Week on April 1, 2015. Carla’s life work continues through her non-profit organization, L/L Research. You can find all of her work available for free at www.llresearch.org. v Acknowledgements Thanks to Abbie Bliss, Wendy Jane Carrel, Denise DuBarry Hay, Wynn Free, Bill Hay, Sharin Klisser, Jean-Claude Koven and Don Newsom, who were there at the beginning of this book, creating the idea in a weekend of discussion in January 2006. They gave me the inspiration to start this project! Thanks to Bruce Peret and Eccles Pridgeon, who generously helped me with early stages of outlining and gathering data for this book. Thanks to James A. McCarty, who talked this book through with me for hours on end as I began to visualize its shape, and who also went hunting for good q’uotations to use in these pages and whose encouragement and support throughout the project were profound, far and above beyond anything imaginable. Thanks to Steve Moffitt, whose second pair of eyes found many sentences and words to simplify and shorten as I strove to make this volume clear while retaining every nuance of The Law of One. Thanks to Ian Jaffray, who readied this book for printing. Thanks to Michele Matossian, the graphic artist whose unique and inspired cover design for this book is so deftly simple and so beautiful. Lastly, thanks to those who told me that an entry-level book on the principles of the Law of One was not needed, since most people do not care about these matters, and that no one can write such a book without “dumbing down” the concepts. Their doubts spurred me on. They helped me to set my imagination free to find ways to keep the writing simple and take it one step at a time—but keep it right! vi A Note About 2012 In a number of places in this book, Carla Rueckert mentions the time of December of 2012 as being the time by which seekers of truth would need to have made their choice of polarity, either in service to others or in service to self, in order to be harvestable. When Carla began doing the research for this book in 2005 this was seen by her as a strong possibility. It was felt that the energies of the fourth density would be too strong for third- density entities to be able to use for this purpose. However, as the grand date has come and gone, it is abundantly clear that catalyst continues unabated in all of our lives, and opportunities for learning still greet each of us as the Earth spins a new day. Though we cannot know how and when, precisely, harvest will transpire—Carla’s perspective was just one theory among others—we are of the opinion that so long as we are still breathing third-density oxygen, we have the ability to learn, grow, and polarize. This includes making the choice itself. After four years of declining health, Carla passed into larger life on April 1st of this year. If she had had the opportunity, she, in the spirit of a good scientist, would have realized that her theory had been overturned by the hard data of actual experience, and she would have subsequently, with great humility, made this exact change to her book. So we would like to suggest that when you read her occasional statements in this book regarding seekers having only until 2012 to make this choice of polarity, that you simply ignore this statement. Carla’s emphasis on a date in time in no way affects the rest of the message contained in this book which, as you will soon discover, is largely concerned with timeless spiritual principles. vii Fortunately the heart of Carla’s message, and the remaining 99% of the text, is right on target. She writes effectively and eloquently about the work of clearing and balancing the energy centers that is the prerequisite for being available for harvest. She had a gift for speaking from her heart, and for helping other people to get their own heart chakras open and clear. We are certain that you will enjoy your journey into your heart, aided by Carla’s own. In Love & Light, Jim McCarty Carla Rueckert’s husband and scribe for the Ra contact. Louisville, Kentucky July 12, 2015 A Note About the Rest of the Series, 102 and 103 Carla references two more books in this series in a few places throughout this text: Living the Law of One – 102: The Outer Work and Living the Law of One – 103: The Inner Work. Unfortunately, due to her ongoing health concerns, Carla was not able to finish these books before her passing. viii Table of Contents Preface: A Short History of L/L Research ................................. 12 Introduction: The Confederation of Planets in the Service of the Infinite Creator ......................................................... 21 The Confederation and Religion ............................................ 21 The Confederation and Worship ........................................... 23 The Confederation and the New Age ..................................... 25 The Confederation and the Harvest ....................................... 27 Chapter One: The First Three Distortions of the Law of One .. 30 The Unitary Gameboard ........................................................ 30 The Gameboard, Scientific Version........................................ 33 Free Will ................................................................................ 38 Love on the Gameboard ......................................................... 42 Light ...................................................................................... 44 Illusion on the Gameboard .................................................... 45 Catalyst on the Gameboard .................................................... 48 Chapter Two: Polarity and the Choice ..................................... 55 Polarity on the Gameboard .................................................... 55 The Service-to-Others Path of Polarity ................................... 59 The Service-to-Self Path of Polarity ........................................ 67 The Choice ............................................................................ 77 Examples of Positive Polarity ................................................. 79 Jesus the Christ .................................................................. 79 Peace Pilgrim ..................................................................... 82 Martin Luther King ........................................................... 85 Examples of Negative Polarity ................................................ 87 Genghis Khan .................................................................... 87 Idi Amin Dada Oumee ...................................................... 90 Adolf Hitler........................................................................ 93 Chapter Three: The Energy Body ............................................ 99 Mind and Consciousness ....................................................... 99 Mind, Consciousness and Perception ................................... 102 Power to the People: Fuel for the Energy Body .................... 104 ix Table of Contents Using Mind and Consciousness Together ............................ 109 Chapter Four: The Red-Ray Energy Center ........................... 115 Light Through You .............................................................. 115 The Red Ray and Sexuality .................................................. 120 The

This led them to an absorption with the Jewish creation myths in Genesis, which they obsessively reinterpreted to formulate allegorical explanations of how humans ended up trapped in the world of matter. The basic Gnostic story, which varied in details from teacher to teacher, was this: In the beginning there was an unknowable, immaterial, and invisible God, sometimes called the Father of All and sometimes by other names. “He” was neither male nor female, and was composed of an implicitly finite amount of a living nonphysical substance. Surrounding this God was a great empty region called the Pleroma (the fullness). Beyond the Pleroma lay empty space. The God acted to fill the Pleroma through a series of emanations, a squeezing off of small portions of his/its nonphysical energetic divine material. In most accounts there are thirty emanations in fifteen complementary pairs, each getting slightly less of the divine material and therefore being slightly weaker. The emanations are called Aeons (eternities) and are mostly named personifications in Greek of abstract ideas.

  • The Esotericism of the Chess Samael Aun Weor 1 the ESOTERICISM
The Esotericism Of The Chess Samael Aun Weor THE ESOTERICISM OF THE CHESS The chess game comes from the ancient Atlantis, it is a game that was known and practised by the people of the continent that today is submerged in the ocean that has its name. The chess symbolizes or allegorizes the Game of the Life, or better to say, the Chessboard of the Life. Esoterically speaking at the light of the Gnosis, we are simple chips, governed by invisible or occult forces that we do not know. Some of those mechanic forces are evolutives and involutives. We do not have to forget the revolutionary forces that work from the superior dimensions of the space, the Intelligent Principles that are occult beyond the phenomena, creating and creating again. The ineffable beings, the Lord of the Flame, the Master of the Conscious Circle of the Solar Humanity, sometimes govern the white chips and other times the black ones; that is to say, they direct the flow of the innumerable centuries. Some of those beings, called Devas, govern for example, the Elemental Departments of Nature, meanwhile others work in many other activities. In all of this there levels and levels, grades and grades. And every group or family according with their particular ray, act over the Chessboard, that as we said, symbolizes the Universal Life. It is obvious that if the humanity would have the Consciousness awakened, it would be able to determine the circumstances over the chessboard, because logically it would not be governed by the mechanical laws as the Law of Cause and Effect, the Law of Return, the Law of Recurrence, etc.

THE CLASSIFIED ENCYCLOPEDIA OF CHESS VARIANTS I once read a story about the discovery of a strange tribe somewhere in the Amazon basin. An eminent anthropologist recalls that there was some evidence that a space ship from Mars had landed in the area a millenium or two earlier. ‘Good heavens,’ exclaims the narrator, are you suggesting that this tribe are the descendants of Martians?’ ‘Certainly not,’ snaps the learned man, ‘they are the original Earth-people — it is we who are the Martians.’ Reflect that chess is but an imperfect variant of a game that was itself a variant of a germinal game whose origins lie somewhere in the darkness of time.
