Thanks to a generous $150,000 donation from Hobart and Soni McAlister, a new field was built on the corner of 30th Street and Hoover Street in 1998. The field served as the home of USC soccer for 14 years before lacrosse was added as USC’s 21st varsity sport in 2012. Trojan lacrosse played its first season in the spring of 2013, and hosted Massachusetts in their first game at the field on February 10.
