Between 1995 and 2010, European countries were involved in international projects to plan pest control strategies. However, since 2011, collaborative efforts have declined and the overview of knowledge on WCR is in great need of updating. Therefore, a review of scientific papers published between 2008 and 2020, in addition to direct interviews with experts responsible for WCR management in several European countries, was conducted to (1) summarize the research conducted over the last 12 years and (2) describe the current WCR distribution and population in the EU, and the management strategies implemented. A considerable amount of new knowledge has been gained over the last 12 years, which has contributed to the development of pest management strategies applicable in EU agricultural systems.     MILLER ERGONOMICS, SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS Shiftwork An Annotated Bibliography James C. Miller, Ph.D., CPE 10/1/2010 This report is an annotated bibliography. The primary purpose of the report was to gather relevant literature from databases with comprehensive coverage. The references cited herein address the design of shiftwork schedules and the effects of shiftwork on safety, health and human performance in many work environments. No limits were placed upon dates of publication; however, the bibliography generally reaches back slightly more than 30 years. No systematic attempt was made to list technical reports from the governments of other countries than the United States, though some are included. Citations listed within and to the publications cited here, along with keywords suggested by these publications, should allow the reader to search an area of interest almost completely.     95/4939 EPPO Secretariat Report on the IWGO International Workshop on Diabrotica Graz, AT, 1995-03-20/21 This Workshop on Diabrotica has been organized by the International Working Group on Maize Pests (IWGO) of IOBC. The President of this Working Group, Dr Berger, recalled that IWGO has been created in 1978, in particular to gather scientists working in the field of maize resistance maize against the European corn borer (Ostrinia nubilalis). But with the recent introduction of a new maize pest in Serbia, it was felt useful to call an international meeting on this subject for information exchange on its biology and possible means of control. Approximately 30 participants from Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, USA and the EPPO Secretariat attended this meeting. • Situation of Diabrotica virgifera in Serbia Dr Edwards (US) read the report from Dr Baca (YU) who could not come to the meeting. In mid-July 1992, unusual symptoms of maize destruction were observed in the vicinity of Surcin airport, near Belgrade, on a small plot (0,5 ha). The pest was identified as Diabrotica virgifera by a US expert. In 1993, maize fields were infested, on the territory of Srem, in the zone of Boljevci-Popinci-Golubinci-Indija to the confluence of the river Sava with the Danube, then south of the Danube at Visnijicka Banja and east of the Danube at Borca. Highest levels of populations were recorded in the immediate vicinity of Surcin airport. In some fields, losses were extremely severe (up to 80 % plant mortality): these maize fields had been infested in 1992, and maize was cultivated again in 1993.

Most of these reports were based on patients with another current or previous substance use disorder (SUD). According to the ICD-10 dependence criteria, physical dependence (withdrawal symptoms, tolerance) was reported most frequently alongside regular use of gabapentinoids. Far less patients showed key symptoms of behavioral dependence (craving, loss of control, or addictive behavior). Through a literature review, we found 2 and 13 case reports about gabapentionoid-seeking behavior or craving for gabapentin and pregabalin, respectively. Those patients without a history of another SUD, but being behaviorally dependent on gabapentinoids, deemed more appropriate to reflect the true addictive power of these drugs. We found solely 4 such cases, all referring to pregabalin and none for gabapentin. Taking into account that gabapentinoids have become widely distributed and easily obtainable via the internet or black-markets, one would expect many more of these cases, if gabapentinoids had considerable addictive power.
