Spiritual Journey Author: Ali Hassnain Khan Khichi1 Reccive: 25/03/2019 Accept: 12/10/2019 Problem Statement We will review in this spiritual journey One of the greatest personalities in sacrifice and redemption, he is Hussein bin Ali (Abu Shuhadaa) May Allah be pleased with him, My heart rejoiced and my pen because I have received that honor to write about an honorable person Son of the Master Ali ibn Abi Talib, a pure seed with deep roots in faith. Imam Hussein derives his glory from of the Messenger of Allah Muhammad Peace be upon him. In fact, I do not find much trouble in a flow of ideas which follows one idea after the other about the wonderful example in steadfastness on the right. And I am thirsty for the moment when the article will be finished to start reading it again. When I started in my writing, I did not know much about the subject, but when I read the references and resources and studied the details of Imam's life, I was surprised with many meanings that added a lot to my personality. When we talk about this great person we must mention the environment in which he grew up and the family from which he descended. They are a family of the Prophet Muhammad (Ahl Albeit), , who are distinguished by good deeds, redemption and sacrifice, the reason for their preference was their commitment to the method of God and they paid precious cost to become the word of God is the highest. َ ََّ ُ ْ َ ْ ُ ْ َ ْ َ ُ َ ْ )1( )إن َما ُيريد ُالله لُيذه َب عنك ُم َّالر ْج َس أهل ال َبْيت َو ُيط َّه َرك ْم تطه ًيرا( ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ The Holy Prophet Muhammad has recommended all Muslims to love (Ahl Albeit) and keep them in mind. -

Currently five hundred people from Portugal who are Non-Muslim have registered attending “Arbaeen” great marching. And also about one thousand people –Sunni Shia-Christian- from other European countries will attend it. According to statistics number of Iranians who participate in “Arbaeen” marching is 100% percent more than last year. IBN HABIB’S KITAB AL-MUHABBAR AND ITS PLACE IN EARLY ISLAMIC HISTORICAL WRITING ABED EL-RAHMAN TAYYARA Cleveland State University Biographical evidence about Abu Ja'far Muhammad b. Habib (d. 860) is slim. Almost nothing is known about his father, and even the name ‘Habib’1 is believed to be associated with his mother. Al-Hashimi and al- Baghdadi are two nisbas attached to Ibn Habib, the first of which derives from his mother being a client (mawla) of a Hashimi family, and the second of which implies that Ibn Habib spent a considerable part of his life in Baghdad. -

Fordham International Law Journal is produced by The Berke- ley Electronic Press (bepress). http://ir.lawnet.fordham.edu/ilj Islam and the Challenge of Democratic Commitment Dr. Khaled Abou El-Fadl Abstract The author questions whether concurrent and simultaneous moral and normative commit- ments to Islam and to a democratic form of government are reconcilable or mutually exclusive. The author will argue in this Article that it is indeed possible to reconcile Islam with a commitment in favor of democracy. The author will then present a systematic exploration of Islamic theology and law as it relates to a democratic system of government, and in this context, address the various elements within Islamic belief and practice that promote, challenge, or hinder the emergence of an ideological commitment in favor of democracy. In many ways, the basic and fundamental ob- jective of this Article is to investigate whether the Islamic faith is consistent or reconcilable with a democratic faith. As addressed below, both Islam and democracy represent a set of comprehensive and normative moral commitments and beliefs about, among other things, the worth and entitle- ments of human beings. The challenging issue is to understand the ways in which the Islamic and democratic systems of convictions and moral commitments could undermine, negate, or validate and support each other. The book that I relied upon to abridge is [by] al- Shaykh al-Imām al-Alāmah Abū Amr ibn al- Salāh – May Allāh encompass him with His mercy – from the well-known books amongst the students of this field, and maybe some of the skilful from the young have memorised it – treading behind him, to divide that which has been opened, to summarise that which has been explained, and to organise that which has preceded. -

Article History: Received: 5 April 2021; Accepted: 14 May 2021; Published online: 22 June 2021 Abstract: In Islamic sources, whether interpretive, narrative or historical, the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) are mostly referred to with high reverence, and graceful trait are attributed thereto. yet, their commemoration in one of the most glorious works of early Arabic literature, namely Kitab al-Aghani, is of paramount significance. Attributed to the 10th-century Arabic writer Abu al- Faraj al-Isfahani (also known as al-Isbahani), it is claimed to have taken 50 years to write the work. Considering that he is a descendant of the Marwanis, mentioning the virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) in this book further highlights their legitimacy, making everyone awe in praise. Further, the claims cited in the work have been mostly backed by referring to other Sunni and possibly Shiite sources. With a descriptive-analytical approach, the purpose of this study was to introduce the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) in the Kitab al-Aghani, while pointing out issues such as the succession of Ali (PBUH), the succession of Imam Hassan (PBUH) and Messianism of Mahdi (PBUH). ‘Abd Allah Ibn Al-Zubayr and His Career as Caliph Prof. Dr. Mehmet Mehdi Ilhan∗ Abstract ‘Abd Allah b. al-Zubayr was raised by ‘A’isha in the Prophet’s (s.a.s.) house. Safiyyah, the Prophet’s maternal aunt was his paternal grandmother, ‘A’isha’s sister Asma was his mother, and Abu Bakr his maternal grandfather. ‘Abd Allah b. al-Zubayr’s upbringing and lineage played an important role throughout his life and future career as caliph. Although ‘Abd Allah b. al-Zubayr was undeniably close to ‘A’isha, a very reliable source for the sunna and the traditions of the Prophet, his loyalty to the teachings of the Prophet and particular- ly the warning to those who attribute to the Prophet what he had not said that they would be sent to hell determined his choice of only 33 hadith to transmit. His love for the house of the Prophet and his grandfather Abu Bakr made him a staunch defender of the office of caliphate when he saw it abused by Mu‘awiyah and his son Yazid. ‘Abd Allah b. al-Zubayr ruled over Hijaz and the Eastern provinces from Mecca for nine years. The people of Iraq, Hijaz, and a large part of Syria paid him homage as caliph. After his death in 692 A.D., the caliphate of ‘Abd al-Malik b. Marwan was confirmed. In this paper I will deal with the life and career of ‘Abd Allah b. al-Zubayr and show how the Prophet’s teachings were reflected in his character and behaviour. -

Khadija Bint Khuwaylid: a Saintly Woman for Our Times
DEEN A Saintly Woman for Our Times KHADIJA bint Khuwaylid by Zahra Ayubi hadija bint Khuwaylid, may God be pleased with her, was a woman of the ages, from whom we can learn much. The first wife of the Prophet KMuhammad, peace be upon him, she is considered in popular thought “Give Khadija the on the historical roles of women in Islam, as a symbol of women’s piety, chastity and belief in God, as well as a model wife who unconditionally supported her good tidings that husband. She embodied these attributes, and so much more, to which we can relate today. If we understand Khadija’s life from a vantage point that respects her station, she will have a palace her relationship to the Prophet and her own relationship to God, we will make sense of her life as an empowered woman in a deeply patriarchal world in which made of pearls in Islam was just beginning to bring about the revolution of human equality. While the Prophet remains for both women and men a model human being, Paradise and there the model believer in God, the stories of his life as a man who lived more than 1400 years ago, can at times be inaccessible to today’s women. If the Prophet is will be neither noise al-insan al-kamil (the perfect, complete human being) then the figure of Khadija can function as the complete woman. She is certainly not a parallel female prophetic figure; however, on the level nor trouble in it” of women’s expression of faith, when we read Khadija’s life story holistically we are presented with a uniquely female way of being Muslim.
