The script explores themes of love, compassion, acceptance and the “knots” or ties that liberate and bind us. The show will run about one hour and forty minutes consisting of ten filmed scenes and ten live scenes. We will film the ten live scenes in the Spring so as to create the feature film which we plan to premiere at film festivals in Atlanta and around the country. Actor Boutique’s mission is to help actors succeed. With over 45 years in the business, and 4 Emmy Award wins to our name, we are now in our third year of training actors in Atlanta through the highest, most rigorous standards of the craft while connecting them to influential and talented industry professionals via our AB Industry Nights held once, sometimes twice a year. We are now in our 7th production since 2014 and past guests have included Jen Kelley from Big Picture Casting, Rhavynn Drummer from Tyler Perry Studios, Olubajo Sonubi from Vampire Diaries, Mark Fincannon of Fincannon and Associates, Brian Beegle of Stilwell Casting, and People Store, just to name a few. THE VENUE Built in 1986 as the Academy Theatre, SCADshow serves as home to aTVfest and other SCAD Atlanta events. Equipped with state of the lighting and Dolby 7.1 sound, SCADshow has been voted one of the best theatre venues in Atlanta. It has been the host setting for live events and premier screenings including: Girls Trip starring Jada Pinkett Smith and Regina Hall, Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network showcased the first episode of Greenleaf, FreeForm’s premiered ‘Shadowhunters’ and FOX’s Lucifer held a live interview with cast and crew. HBO, NETFLIX, CBS and Disney among many others have also staged industry nights at SCADshow Atl. SCADshow ATL is the heart and home for the entertainment industry’s live events in Atlanta.
