it would be rather nice while we were still here to give it to her. We wanted to give her some security.’ 1961 Misses M and MG Pyatt were joint presidents of Bradmore Joint Conservative Association. Died 31.3.1969, buried Bunny churchyard. with sister Mary, near west gate. Pyatt sisters Dolly and Geraldine were related to Forman Hardys of Nottingham Evening Post. 1932 Kellys Directory Misses Pyatt private residents at Barn Close, also Kellys 1936 and 1941. Article in Evening Post 18.8.1995 refers to the girls of the Pyatt family at Wysall who together with the 5 daughters of Mrs Cordeux at Bunny Hall (Hall Park and Woods bought in 1910, when Albert Ball bought the estate) used to form social clubs and organise drama and music events in the villages. Misses Pyatt remembered with affection in Bradmore village. Used to take the village children for rides in the pony and trap, and on Christmas Eve would go round the village with a lantern on a pole (there were no street lights until 1937) delivering gifts for every child. During the war they saved their sweet coupons for a year to get sweets for the children for Christmas. They were also remembered for having a houseful of cats, and would pay the vet bills for sick animals in the village. 1956 and 1958 the village garden party was held in their garden. Before coming to Bradmore they lived at the house on the far side of Rancliffe Wood on the Keyworth Rd.
