DEAN CLAIRS Dean ‘Clairsy’ Clairs always knew he wanted to work in radio and has been living that dream for 35 years – and counting! A self-confessed music and sports tragic, he had a fitting start to his on- air career as it was the same night Australia II won the America’s Cup, and has since done every possible shift on-air – including a stint calling AFL. He’s our in-house ‘music man’ who knows all the words to all the songs and has been broadcasting to Perth during those early breakfast hours since 2013. Clairsy even met – and later married – the love of his life, Lori, via a radio promotion called Date My Dad.

MATT DYKTYNSKI With the sounds of the stage (both theatre and stand-up) calling to him, Matt Dyktynski decided to try his luck at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney, ultimately graduating in 1992 amongst the likes of Cate Blanchett. As a stand-up comedian, Matt has performed across Britain, Ireland and Europe with solo shows at Edinburgh, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth comedy festivals. He has featured in films such as Japanese Story, Love and Other Catastrophes, Take Away and Road to Nhill, and appeared on the silver screen in shows such as Secret Life Of Us, Blue Heelers, All Saints, Stingers, Water Rats and Offspring. Originally from Perth, Matt moved home in 2015 to join Clairsy and Kymba on air.

KYMBA CAHILL Kymba’s background in acting and theatre arts, as well as stand-up comedy, ultimately led her to a career in radio, which now spans over a decade on mix94.5. Born and bred in Perth, Kymba graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts and has also completed a Diploma in Secondary Teaching (Media and Drama). Kymba carries this passion for the arts into the breakfast show and loves to discuss movies, music and TV, as well as home renovations and her love of dogs! Kymba is also an ambassador for Edmund Rice Camps WA, who help disadvantaged, at-risk children.
