COCKTAIL AND THEATRE EVENING The Women of the Eastern Football League would like to meet the women in your club and are holding a cocktail & theatre night for their 2013 season opener. All the women that are a part of your club are invited, from the women directly involved in the club as trainers, secretaries & canteen staff through to the player’s partners, mums, sisters and friends. The format of the evening will start with complimentary beverages and finger food and a welcome to the evening. At 7:45pm ladies will filter into the theatre for an 8pm start for David Williamson’s The Club. What is The Club? There will be something for everyone as art and sport unite in a classic Australian play, The Club. Written by David Williamson and based on the Collingwood Football Club, The Club is set to star various local Melbourne talent, including Gold-Logie award winning Australian actor John Wood – best known for his role in the long-running drama Blue Heelers.
