He was found living with his parents and siblings under a trailer right off the highway. His then owner wasn't having any luck finding homes for the puppies so his current family took Blue home with them and just look at him now - a healthy happy young dog!!! Blue is a very sweet guy with a lot of energy. His family has two young children and other dogs and they want Blue to find a home where he will get more attention and lots of play time. Even though he is loved, his energy level is a bit much for such young children. He would do well in a home with older children. Blue is a Blue Heeler/mix. Blue Heelers are a wonderful intelligent breed - they need lots of exercise, love companionship and activities that engage their body and mind. At home they are happy, affectionate and playful pets who are very loyal to their owners. They require very little in the way of grooming and usually do not shed. Blue is very friendly and plays well with other dogs. Check out the picture where he is taking adnkc. nap org/pets/3462542-on top of his best bud.blue. THE ARCHITECT BY AIDAN FENNESSY Welcome The Architect is an example of the profound role theatre plays in helping us make sense of life and the emotional challenges we encounter as human beings. Night after night in theatres around the world, audiences come together to experience, be moved by, discuss, and contemplate the stories playing out on stage. More often than not, these stories reflect the goings on of the world around us and leave us with greater understanding and perspective. In this world premiere, Australian work, Aidan Fennessy details the complexity of relationships with empathy and honesty through a story that resonates with us all. In the hands of Director Peter Houghton, it has come to life beautifully. • The Paul Hogan Story
Coming to HOGES THE PAUL HOGAN STORY From Seven and FremantleMedia Australia (FMA) comes HOGES: The Paul Hogan story. An almost accidental supernova of raw comedic talent exploding onto the entertainment scene; first Australia, then the world. The story of how a married-at-18 Sydney Harbour Bridge rigger with five kids entered a TV talent contest on a dare from his work-mates to become a household name and an Oscar-nominated superstar. Embraced by all Australians and soon known simply as “Hoges,” he is joined on his meteoric journey by lifelong friend, producer and sidekick John “Strop” Cornell. Together, they first make Australians laugh, then proud with one of the most successful tourism campaigns in history selling Aussie hospitality to the world. This, with the runaway success of Crocodile Dundee, the highest US-grossing foreign film ever in its day, cements Hogan’s legacy. HOGES explores the factors which shaped this success – and at what cost success might have come. It entwines the story of his amazing journey with that of his close family life, of his two great loves, the pain of divorce, his struggle with the intense scrutiny of life in the public eye, but also of his enduring friendship with Cornell and the rollercoaster ride of their careers. FMA’s Jo Porter and Seven’s Julie McGauran are Executive Producers, Kevin Carlin (Molly, Wentworth) is Co-Producer and Director, Brett Popplewell is Producer and the script is by Keith Thompson (The Sapphires) and Marieke Hardy (Packed To The Rafters, The Family Law). The Hoges Story PART ONE PART TWO Poolside at Granville baths, a young Paul Hogan cracks jokes and pashes While the success of Crocodile Dundee catapults Hoges onto the world Noelene, his childhood sweetheart.
