How to Request Official Transcripts

 Download a Senior Transcript Request form Student Services website or pick up from the transcript office (D107) in Student Services  Complete the form and return it to the transcript office:  Form must be signed by parent  Applicable Fee(s) must accompany the request before it will be processed  This form will be maintained in the transcript office, available for future request updates Transcript Office Information

 Official transcripts are mailed by SCHS and must be requested 15 business days (approx. 3 weeks) prior to the college’s deadline ($5.00 late fee)  Three transcripts are free, each additional transcript request requires a fee of $5.00  Seventh semester grades will be automatically sent in February 2019 to all applied colleges What is sent with the transcript?

 Students are responsible for asking teachers for recommendations  Typically from a core-subject teacher  Only send the exact number the application requests  One letter can be used for multiple schools Test Scores  Students must have their standardized test scores (SAT/ACT) sent directly to the schools they are applying to  SCHS does not send SAT, ACT, or AP scores  Ways to send scores:  When the student registers for the test, they select the colleges where the scores will be directly sent  Log on to the website to order additional scores: http://sat.collegeboard.org /home for SAT and AP or www.actstudent.org for ACT College Essays Essays may be required or optional
