2nd Tuesday Bible Study is on for

February and we’ll be discussing the “X Factor”!!

We're starting with the real-life WORSHIP SERVICE experiences teens face, and using our hour in the word to look to our faith

BLACK ENGINEER OF THE YEAR CONFERENCE FEB 13-15

The Black Engineer of the Year Award (BEYA) conference will be held in Washington D.C. on February 13th -15th.

Four high school students will be given the opportunity to attend the BEYA Pre-college program on Friday, February 14th for FREE!

2020 FAIR HOUSING ART AND LITERARY CONTEST The Fairfax County Student Human Rights

Commission (SHRC) holds an annual Art & Literary contest to create awareness among high school students of fair housing issues and laws and to promote the importance of providing equal housing opportunities for all.

All Fairfax County high school students may participate by submitting artwork or a written work based on this year's theme: “2020 Vision: Looking Towards a Brighter Future in Fair Housing.”

Contest entries must be postmarked by March 13, 2020.

Winners receive a $300 prize!!

CRITERIA FOR ASBC SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS

1. Member of ASBC, a minimum of 2 years after receiving the Right Hand of Fellowship

2. Regular worship service attendance

3. Active participant (at least 70% of the events) of two on-going ministries, in addition to church worship, during your junior and senior years of high school (Examples of on-going ministries: Awana, Choir, Senior Youth, Ushers, Sunday School, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Liturgical Dance, Youth Drama, and Media)

4. High School Diploma or Equivalent

5. Acceptance into a program of an accredited institution
