THE LOST YEARS of JESUS Analysis of Eyewitness Accounts of Travelers Who Have Made the Trek to Himis THE LOST YEARS OFJESUS Elizabeth Clare Prophet Documentary evidence of Jesus'17-year journey to the East SUMMIT UNIVERSITY PRESS® . .Your Jesus was here." THE GOSPELS record Jesus age twelve in the temple. Then about age thirty at the river Jordan. That leaves approximately seventeen years un- accounted for. During those so-called lost years, the child "increased in wisdom and stature," as Luke wrote. But was it in the carpenter shop at Nazareth? According to ancient Tibetan manuscripts, Jesus secretly withdrew from the home of Mary and Joseph at age thirteen. Young "Issa" joined a merchant caravan. Destination: India and the Himalayas. At Juggernaut, "the white priests of Brahma made him a joyous welcome. They taught him to read and understand the Vedas, to cure by aid of prayer, to teach, to explain the holy scriptures to the people, and to drive out evil spirits from the bodies of men." • Buddhist scholars documented "The Life of Saint Issa" two thousand years ago. • Nicolas Notovitch discovered the long- lost document in 1887 at the Himis monastery in Ladakh. • Swami Abhedananda published a Bengali translation of the Himis manuscript in 1929. • Nicholas Roerich quoted the same verses in a 1929 travel diary of his Asian expedition. • And in 1939, a beaming lama at Himis presented a set of parchments to Elisabeth Caspari with the words: "These books say your Jesus was here!" Now you can read the controversial stories of these travelers together with the original Bud- dhist scriptures on the most important events that shaped the life and work of the Saviour Jesus Christ. A historical breakthrough that will shake the foundations of modern Christendom! Here the legends connected the paths of Buddha and Christ. Buddha went through Leh northwards. Issa communed here with the people on his way from Tibet. Secretly and cautiously the legends are guarded. It is difficult to sound them because lamas, above all people, know how to keep silent. Only by means of a common language— and not merely that of tongue but also of inner understanding—can one approach their significant mysteries. Nicholas Roerich Chapter One THE LOST YEARS OFjESUS Analysis of eyewitness accounts of travelers who have made the trek to Himis And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written... John The Case for Issa magine you are a detective. An unusual case Icomes across your desk. You open a yellowed folder. It isn't exactly a case of a mistaken identity or a missing person. It is a missing background- some lost years. And the particulars are spare. Date of birth unknown. Exact year of birth also unknown; sometime between 8 and 4 B.C. Place of birth disputed. Thought to be Beth- lehem.1 Father, Joseph, a carpenter. Came from a noble and illustrious line beginning with Abraham and continuing through Isaac and Jacob to David the King—then through Solomon to Jacob, the father of Joseph, husband of Mary. Human lineage thus established through paternal descent, though father's paternity vehe- mently denied by some in favor of doctrine of virgin birth. One account records him "being, as was supposed, the son of Joseph" but traces his royal origin through genealogy of Mary, his mother.2 Adventurous early life. Fled with parents to Egypt after father had a dream. Returned to J 4 ELIZABETH CLARE PROPHET CHAPTER ONE Nazareth, or thereabouts, an unspecified number of years later. By this time you realize what you might be getting into. But it doesn't add up. Why a file on Jesus? You read on. At about age thirty, began a mission. Was baptized by a cousin, John. Traveled extensively with a band of twelve disciples for about three years. Preached, healed the sick, raised the dead. Was framed by Jewish high priest Caiaphas and Sanhe- drin. Sentenced by Roman procurator Pontius Pilate against his better judgment. Crucified by four Roman soldiers. Taken down from cross and laid in tomb by Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus. Orthodox position: Rose from the dead on the third day.' Taught disciples forty days. Then dis- appeared from their sight in "a cloud." Ascended into heaven and sat on the right hand of God. Contradicted by second-century tradition that he spent many years on earth after resurrection.4 Church Father Irenaeus asserts he lived at least ten to twenty years after crucifixion: On completing His thirtieth year He suf- fered, being in fact still a young man, and who had by no means attained to advanced age. Now, that the first stage of early life embraces thirty years, and that this extends onwards to the fortieth year, every one will admit; but from the fortieth and fiftieth year a man begins to decline towards old age, THE LOST YEARS OF JESUS 2 3 which our Lord possessed while He still fulfilled the office of a Teacher, even as the Gospel and all the elders testify; those who were conversant in Asia with John, the dis- ciple of the Lord, [affirming] that John con- veyed to them that information. [Against Heresies, c. 180]5 View supported by third-century Gnostic text Pistis Sophia: It came to pass, when Jesus had risen from the dead, that he passed eleven years dis- coursing with his disciples and instructing them 6 Impact of his life and teachings incalculable. Sought to effect change by purifying men's hearts. Called the greatest revolutionary. Story told in various forms in New Testament and apocryphal writings. Followers, now 1.4 bil- lion, called Christians.7 Largest of all faiths. Christian nations now culturally, economi- cally, and politically dominant. All human history divided by his birth—B.C., A.D. Suggests his com- ing is the pivot of history. You take a deep breath and exhale slowly. This is no small case. An investigation into the past of one of the most influential persons in history. You look up from your desk, past the typewriter to a calendar on the wall. It is an old, old case. You return to the file. It is full of unanswered questions. J 6 ELIZABETH CLARE PROPHET CHAPTER ONE No record of his existence made during his life. If made, did not survive. Nothing he may have written survived either. No record of what he looked like: height, weight, color of hair or eyes. No distinguishing marks.8 Few details about his childhood. Little infor- mation about his family and home life.

  • THE CHELA and the PATH: Keys to Soul Mastery in the Aquarian Age by El Morya
I direct this series to those moving in the wind of the Aquarian cycle. To those who would move into the new dispensation yet know not the way to go I say, there is a Path. Step by step it has been carved by the initiates of the sacred fire. Over thousands of years the barefooted devotees have worn a trail over the rocks. The way is known of us. It can also be known by you. In support of Saint Germain, Master of the Aquarian Age, exponent of the flame of freedom to mankind, I place the jewel of my crown upon the altar of the Great White Brotherhood, that those who have lost the way may find it again. The path to our abode is steep. The way is fraught with unknown dangers, yet the peaks of pride are more jagged than the uncharted heights. I come to clear the way for the chelas of God’s will—those who would become chelas of the ascended masters. Whether Christian or Jew, Moslem or Zen Bud- dhist, or none of these, know, O seeker after higher reality, that the path of initiation can be trod wherever you are. But you must take the first step. My respon- sibility is to guide and guard: yours is to follow. With the full faculties of mind and heart and soul, you chart the course of your life. El Morya The Chela and the Path Keys to Soul Mastery in the Aquarian Age Ascended Master El Morya Dictated to the Messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet THE CHELA AND THE PATH: Keys to Soul Mastery in the Aquarian Age by El Morya.

DINIKA Academic Journal of Islamic Studies Volume 3, Number 1, January - April 2018 ISSN: 2503-4219 (p); 2503-4227 (e) DOI: 10.22515/dinika.v3i1.129 Extended Meaning of Prophet and Prophecy: Reviewing “New Shelter” of Ahmadiyyah and Mormonism Ali Jafar UGM, Yogyakarta email: [email protected] Abstract This study looks at the contemporary phenomena of the birth of two religions within Islam and Christianity, namely Ahmadiyyah and Mormonism. Through the frame of world religion classifcation, this study emphasizes what makes these sects become and classifed by many scholars as ‘New Religions’ while other sects are not. This study re-looks at how hybrid religions have been crafted, developed and classifed based on the age of the religion and where those religions frst appeared, this study also looks at the historical process of how these hybrid religions became new religions. By considering the historical process, understanding prophecy, religious teaching, believe and particular interpretation over the main religions, this study aims to understand the emergent process of ‘new religions’ as temporary shelters for illegitimate sects. By comparing two sects, I conclude that these new religions have some common grounds which can be seen through interpreting the meaning of ‘prophet’ and ‘prophecy’, religious entities that make these sects excluded from the big umbrellas they are under Islam and Christianity. Keywords: Religion, Sect, Prophet, Prophecy Introduction The development of world religion is fast and quite unpredictable. Their popularity has toned down the faces of primal religions. The development of world religions can’t be separated from globalization issues and the spirit of proselytizer (Da’I - Missionaries) in spreading 2 Ali Jafar their religions.

  • Prayers Meditations and Dynamic Decrees for Personal and World
Gardiner, Montana FOREWORD “Thou shalt decree a thing and it shall be established unto thee!” Every moment each man or woman creates his own future. Life, which is a God-given gift, continually acts to ful- fill man’s spoken or unspoken desires. Human thoughts and feelings are decrees in themselves and do produce with cer- tainty and justice after their kind—whether joy or sorrow. Although they live in a sea of wisdom, most men create in ignorance; their lives are therefore a mixture of both good and bad, a chaotic outpicturing of the so-called wheel of fortune. Believing honest men and women want to rise above self-imposed bondage and would shed unhappy human quali- ties of thought and feeling—long endured but not cured— I AM offering these decrees to the world, in the sunlight of divine Love and Light. Their constant and faithful use will plant the ever-fertile ground of human consciousness with seeds of grace and sprouts of mercy. These in turn will yield the harvest of a new life, a personal harvest of harmony and abundance, quickly fulfilled at your call through individual growth and the expansion of God’s sacred fire. Like the balm of Gilead, these decrees will anoint the weary souls of earth’s children and bind human hearts to - gether with the ascended hosts, making the human and the divine one family which can and will establish forever peace and victory in the Light of God which never fails. As you daily follow the ritual of invocation and decree, accept my blessing personally given from the Retreat of God’s Will here in Darjeeling, on behalf of the Great White Brotherhood—from heart, head, and hand! • Jesus Died in Kashmir: Jesus, Moses, and the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel’ by A
Book Review: ‘Jesus died in Kashmir: Jesus, Moses, and the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel’ by A. Faber-Kaiser Amtul Mussawir Mansoor Introduction A. Faber Kaiser, a philosopher and a scholar of comparative religions, heard of the ‘Kashmir Hypothesis’ and became interested when he discovered that there was a tomb in Kashmir that belonged to Jesus. He himself decided to go to Kashmir and investigate the hypothesis more thoroughly. In his book, he examines the evidence and presents historical and physical proofs, that Jesus Christ, in fact, survived the crucifixion, and travelled East, to find the “Children of Israel,” in order to complete his mission. The purpose of this book was to inform a large sector of the public about the possibility that Jesus did not die on the cross and did not ascend physically to heaven. This possibility is not widely known. The accepted Christian dogma regarding Jesus is that he was crucified at noon on a Friday, and then on the same day before sunset, the body was taken down from the cross and his body was given to Joseph of Arimathaea and was laid to rest in his sepulcher. A large stone blocked the entrance of the tomb and on Sunday, the body was gone from the tomb. In this way, the Biblical prophecy was fulfilled and Jesus had risen from the dead. After visiting his disciples, he ascended to heaven to sit on the right hand of God. The author incidentally points out regarding this Biblical description that “there is no historical evidence that Jesus did die on the cross, and there is no record that anyone witnessed the resurrection.” He further says, “but there is considerable evidence that a man with the same ideas and philosophy as Jesus set out eastwards at precisely this time, leaving behind him a trail of proof of his life and acts.

Though the book is newly published you can tell it's written in the 1800s, but not so much that it's hard to follow. This book is about a mans journey in India to find the secret Hindu beliefs and sites. I am Christian practicing Hindu and this book is a great way to help tie both practices together! It's extremely easy to follow along and though a shorter book it's full of so much knowledge.I did purchase this at full retail price!2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.
