The Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI) is constituted under an Act of Parliament i.e. the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 (Act No. 56 of 1980). ICSI is the only recognized professional body in India to develop and regulate the profession of Company Secretaries in India. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI) has on its rolls 25,132 members including 4,434 members holding certificate of the practice. The number of current students is over 2,30,000.
The Institute of company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has its headquarters at New Delhi and four regional offices at New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai and 68 Chapters in India.
The ICSI has emerged as a premier professional body developing professionals specializing in Corporate Governance. Members of the Institute are rendering valuable services to the Government, Regulatory `bodies, Trade, Commerce, Industry and society at large.
Objective of the Fund Financial Assistance in the event of Death of a member of CBSF Upto the age of 60 years • Upto Rs.3,00,000 in deserving cases on receipt of request subject to the Guidelines approved by the Managing Committee from time to time; and • Group Life Insurance Policy for a sum of Rs.2,00,000

The members above the age of 60 years can be admitted to the Fund. However, in the event of death, financial assistance would be released @ Rs.40,000 for every completed year of membership or part thereof in excess of six months subject to a minimum of Rs.50,000 and maximum Rs.2,00,000

Unni Menon…. is basically a Malayalam film playback singer. He has sung over 500 songs in South Indian languages like Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam .Kunjunni, a violinist for music director Ilaiyaraaja introduced him to B.A.Chidambaranath, a music director, and Unni’s musical career was launched in 1981–82 . In 2003, Unni Menon added a new dimension to his career when he acted and composed music for the Malayalam film Sthithi, besides singing the songs in the film.

SRINIVAS Srinivas... The famous playback singer from South India. Srinivas has sung in Tamil and Malayalam for leading music directors like Illayaraja, Deva, Rahman and Vidyasagar. He made a foray into music direction too - he was one of the five music directors of the Tamil film ‘Ae Nee Romba Azhaga Irukke’. His composition ‘Ini naanum naanillai’ in that film was a major hit. Among his famous albums are‘Ussele Ussele’ and ‘Paarvai’. His first private album in Hindi titled Yeh Duniya Sab Ki, which boasts of a new sound on the Indi-pop front.... Also he worked as a co-composer to Praveen Mani for "LittleJohn" now. Padmanarayanan, his guru in music. The greatest influences on his life were Kishore Kumar, R D Burman, Illayaraja, Pakistani ghazal singer Mehdi Hasan, S D Burman and M S Viswanathan.
AWARDS He was awarded the State Award by the government of Tamil Nadu twice, for his song "Minsara Poove" from the Rajnikanth film Padayappa In 2007 for his song, "Maargazhiyil" from Onbathu Rooba Nottu. He got the Kerala State Award for the song "Baansuri" from the film Raathrimazha. He was conferred with the title Kalaimamani by the Tamil Nadu government. His other awards include the Cinema Express Award, IIFA Award, AV Max Award and Filmfans Award. Most recently, he was awarded the Kerala Film Critics' Award for Best Music Director, for the movie Seetha Kalyanam. The playback singer from South cut his first private album in Hindi titled Yeh Duniya Sab Ki. ANOORADA SRIRAM…. one of south India's leading playback singers, started her music training at the tender age of 6. Well versed in both Carnatic and Hindustani classical music. Anoorada has performed extensively all over India and U.S.A and has given many radio and TV programmes since the age of 12. Anoorada Sriram is one of the film industry's most versatile singers having sung more than 2500 film songs in all the south Indian languages under all the leading music directors. She has also had numerous hits in Hindi films too.
