Y6 Transition Work: Dance on TV

Many TV shows use Dance – Britain’s , Strictly Come Dancing, So You Think You Can Dance, , Dance Moms, The Next Step…

This scheme looks at how these TV shows use dance, the dance styles they use and the way they create choreographies for a television audience.

You can join in by watching dance performances and use them to inspire you and then create your own dance performances.

We have set you a few tasks to try… Start by learning the Dance KIP sheet and have a go at testing yourself with the KIP quizzes. Then try the research and practical tasks too. Most of all… enjoy dancing!
