Pic: Mike English County Board Player of the Month Award: Colm O’Neill Report Congratulations to Colm O’Neill, recent winner of the GAA/GPA Opel A presentation was Player of the Month Award for football. O'Neill, who returned to action made to delegates at this year following a cruciate knee ligament injury last season, capped a Tuesday night’s County memorable Football League Final performance with his fourth goal of the campaign, helping Cork to their third successive title. Pic: George Hatchell th 100 96FM C103 RPH Sports Award Scéim Comharthaí Michael Shields, Cork and St. Finbarr's footballer, was the recipient of the 96FM C103 Rochestown Park Hotel Sports Award for April, in Dhá-Theangach recognition of his contribution to Cork's win in the Allianz League Division Coiste Náisiúnta na 1 Final, their third in succession. Gaeilge agus Foras na Michael has the distinction of winning the 100th award, presented at a Gaeilge recently special function at Rochestown Park Hotel on May 11th. Current Cork launched a Pilot Scheme football captain, Graham Canty, was the first winner in his role as captain in four counties of the Ireland International Rules team that won the series in Australia. Pres defeated CBC in the final, played at Fundraisers Páirc Uí Rinn, on a scoreline of 2-12 to 3-7. The annual Clyda Rovers GAA Golf Classic will be held at Mallow Golf Club on Thursday 31st May and Friday 1st of June 2012.
