Welcome to Cape Regional Health System’s 13th annual 7 Mile Island Home and Health Show and Designer House Tour. We have a very exciting day planned for your enjoyment, including nine beautiful homes on the Designer House Tour, home vendors for great decorating and renovation ideas for your home, and over a dozen free health screenings to keep you in good health. Don’t forget to visit “The Doctor Is In” exhibits available during the Health Show. Cape Regional Health System continues to grow and add new programs to better serve the healthcare needs of our community: • This past November, Cape Regional Health System opened a new medical complex in North Cape May. This beautiful, modern facility is home to Cape Regional Physicians Associates’ Family and Internal Medicine Practice, Cape Regional Physical Therapy and Cape Regional laboratory draw station. The complex is conveniently located at 3806 Bayshore Road. • In May, we celebrated the opening of our second urgent care center. Cape Regional Urgent Care-Wildwood is located next to the Wawa at 406 W. Rio Grande Avenue. The hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Later this year, we will open our third urgent care center which will be located in Marmora in Upper Township. • The Jane Osborne Center for Women’s Health celebrated its one year anniversary, offering state-of-the-art 3D Mammography, Stereotactic Biopsy, Breast Ultrasound, Dexascan for bone density testing and Nurse Navigation Services for personalized support and guidance. • Cape Regional’s Physical Therapy Department now offers a pelvic floor rehabilitation program. Pelvic floor issues can greatly affect quality of life as weak or damaged pelvic floor muscles often contribute to incontinence or pelvic pain due to childbirth, illness, aging or surgery. • In May, we also celebrated the one year anniversary of Cape Regional Home Health/ Managed by BAYADA - providing high-quality home health services to our community. • In June, Cape Regional Medical Center was awarded a grant to develop an Opioid Overdose Recovery Program to respond to individuals reversed from opioid overdoses and treated in our Emergency Department. We extend a very special “thank you” to Ellen Kravet Burke who has diligently served as Chairman of this event since its inception 13 years ago. We also thank the many physicians, volunteers, Auxiliary members, homeowners, Avalon Elementary School, Avalon and Stone Harbor Chambers of Commerce, the Boroughs of Avalon and Stone Harbor, our vendors, sponsors, advertisers and Cape Regional Team Members who have helped to make this year’s event a success.
