The International Festival Sarajevo ‘Sarajevo Winter’ takes place every year from 7 February to 21 March. It was established after the XIV Olym- 15 pics Games, which were held in Sarajevo. The festival gathers artists from all over the world and cooperates with cultural institutions, em- bassies, NGOs in the country and abroad. Programmes are mainly held in Sarajevo, but also on mountains and in other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. REMA is the only representative network for Early Music in Europe. Its main aim is to act as a network for its members, encouraging the ex- EUROPE change of knowledge, information and co-operation. REMA organises three members’ meetings in 2017: in The Hague (NL) in March (in co- 92 operation with the European Association of Conservatoires and Musik- hochschulen) by invitation of the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague and Musica Antica; in Saintes (FR) in July, by invitation of the Abbaye aux Dames; and in Naples (IT) in October, by invitation of Centro di Musica Antica Pieta de Turchini.
