MRTA 20th Anniversary Activities Walking an Jogging for Celebration in Honor of HM the King for the Royal Cup from HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn On 18 August 2012, Miss Rachanee Tripipatkul, Chairperson of the MRTA Board of Directors presided over the activity “20th Anniversary Walking and Jogging” for Celebration in Honor of HM the King for the Royal Cup from HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to celebrate 20th anniversary of MRTA. Held at MRTA Office, The activity was participated by Mr. Yongsit Rojsrikul, MRTA Governor, MRTA executives and employees, BMCL executives, advisors, and contractors of mass rapid project. The revenue raised from the event was donated to the Fund for Development of Children and Youth in Remote Area initiated by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Academic Seminar on “Mass Rapid Transit System and Development of the Nation” On 20 August 2012, MRTA held an academic seminar on “Mass Rapid Transit System and Development of the Nation” for the 20th Anniversary of MRTA. Mr. Yongsit Rojsrikul, MRTA Governor presided over this seminar and presented vision on “MRTA Going Forward to the 21st Year: Commitment to Creating Mass Rapid Transit System for the People.” The seminar also involved guest speakers from educational institutions, and organizations, who are experts in mass rapid transit system.
