This Focus Austria week will provide an international forum for filmmakers to experience first-hand Austria‘s film culture and Vienna. An afternoon walk in Harry Lime‘s Vienna led by historian Dr. Brigitte Timmerman, a visit to Stadtkino to screen Michael Glawogger‘s award-winning documentary MEGACITIES, an evening at the Galerie & Werkstatt NUU, where documentary film producer Johannes Rosenberger will reign as culinary chef preparing dinner from restored old Viennese recipes, a visit to Schloss Belvedere to view the rich art history of Klimt and Schiele, followed by Master Classes in Producing and Screenwriting in association with the Vienna Film Fund, Film Academy and Film Museum will provide the opportunities for a cross-cultural exchange. And, for the first time, two Austrians will serve as advisors and three Austrian screenwriters together with international colleagues will spend a week of storytelling in the gardens of Palais Schwarzenberg as their backdrop. 4 25. éQuinoxe Screenwriters‘ Workshop / 31.
