Revising Bandwidth Policy

In an all-school email this week, the Dean of Students and Cluster Deans reminded us all of the unpopular bandwidth limit of 1 Gigabyte per-week. The deans expressed concern over a recent increase in violations. For the most computer-illiterate among us, the message contained some helpful advice about what activities are bandwidth intensive. But more tech-savvy students probably raised an eyebrow when the mail listed “virues” and “spyware” as common causes of bandwidth overage.
