To challenge our students beyond the extent of this set of provincial requirements, we deliver the vast majority of our classes at an honors level. SAT • No formal SAT preparation is provided to students as part of the academic curriculum. Only students bound for U.S. colleges elect to write the SAT at Brentwood, and test preparation is completed independently. • Among the students who applied to schools in the U.S. in 2016, their mean scores in the sections of the SAT were: Critical Reading = 584, Mathematics = 619, Writing = 567.

UNIVERSITY PLACEMENT • 146 students graduated in the Class of 2016: 91% are currently attending 4-year institutions, 2% are attending 2-year institutions and 7% have taken a GAP year before commencing post-secondary studies; they are currently attending 49 universities in 5 Canadian provinces, 10 U.S. states, and in 6 different nations. • Earning an overall admit rate of 71%, they gained 582 acceptances from 138 different institutions in 9 different nations. • 86% were admitted to their first choice of university, and 70% were awarded merit scholarships by at least one university.
