All rights reserved. 2019 4 B3 Guideline Version History The B3 Guidelines are a set of building project requirements and recommendations which build on regional and national efforts to achieve goals of reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions, enhancing the health, well-being and productivity of building occupants, and improving the quality of the environment. They are designed to be compatible with other national guidelines and rating systems while maintaining regional values, and priorities. They are also intended to be clear, simple, and easily monitored with explicit documentation to record progress. The B3 Guidelines set up a process for quantifying the human, community, environmental, and life-cycle economic costs and benefits to help to fully account for the actual costs and benefits
