Her music can be best described as European K-Pop with a soulful touch or, in her own words, “MY spin on K-pop music!”. This beautiful and fiercely talented artist created her own unique sound/genre (EuroKpop), by not only blending together the futuristic electronic K-pop sounds of the East with her powerful soulful voice and pop / r & b / hip hop / soul influences of the West, but her love for this style and the culture has also led her to incorporate Korean into her English lyrics.
Even as a little girl, it was clear to those around her that Laurrhie Brouns was a very gifted soul. One with a tremendous love and talent, not just for music, but for acting and dancing as well. Over the years Laurrhie has managed to build up quite an impressive résumé. For starters, Laurrhie graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, has performed three times at the huge Arena stadium in Amsterdam for a crowd of 50.000 people each time, she has shared the stage with big international artists like Emeli Sandé and with Bob Marley's legendary band The Wailers.
Throughout her musical journey Laurrhie has wowed numerous crowds & performed at countless locations such as Uitmarkt, Paradiso, Melkweg, North Sea Jazz club, Dauphine, Simplon, P60, P3, W2, Bibelot, Bolwerk, Paard, Waerdse Tempel, Sugarfactory, Bitterzoet, Amsterdam Roots Festival and many more places. And it didn't just end there as Laurrhie's talent surpassed the borders of her domestic country and got noticed across the ocean. Not only was Laurrhie one of the artists performing at London's Herts Pride Festival on the same (main) stage as artists like Angie Brown (Bizarre Inc, Chaka Khan, Grace Jones, The Rolling Stones, Fatboy Slim), but 1 of the biggest lifestyle & music magazines in the UK, RWDMag, praised Laurrhie's voice. UK Blog Awards 2017 Nominee Liquid Entertainment Online named Laurrhie “Verge Of Stardom Artist” and in the USA she's already being dubbed “ a sensation”.
In the spring of 2012, Laurrhie decided to audition for The Voice of Holland and went down a sensation. She became a viewer favorite and was dubbed "The discovery" & " The one to watch". Laurrhie made it through, all the way to the 3rd live show, but unfortunately exited the show right before the quarterfinals. Laurrhie has appeared and performed on numerous Radio shows ( 538, Qmusic, 3FM, Radio 6, FunX and many more). And Television shows (The Voice of Holland – RTL4, Nick Battle – Nickelodeon, Killer Karaoke – RTL 5, Uitmarkt Live! – NPO, So You Think You Can Sing – SBS 6)
November 2016 Marked the release of Laurrhie's debut EP Ascension: Golden Seeds of Light (executive produced, co-produced and written by Laurrhie). It was positively received in the USA & UK (among others) :

In addition to music, Laurrhie loves acting as well. In 2012 Laurrhie played the role of Shandra in the Dutch big screen movie Alleen maar nette mensen, directed by Lodewijk Crijns. This isn't the first time she's ventured out into the acting field, for in her younger years Laurrhie played the leading lady Dorothy in the Dutch musical The Wizard of Oz. Laurrhie also has years of dance experience under her belt. In 1997 she got accepted into the prestigious Dutch National Ballet Academy, and danced in Die Zauberflöte.
