We just couldn’t go east without stopping. Enjoy the sights and sounds of this majestic falls from both the American and Canadian sides, and savor two nights at the Comfort Inn at Prospect Point, just a short walk from the . This location is prime to say the least. Enjoy the thrill of “feeling” the spray from or aboard the Maid of the Mist. But there is so much more ! Discover history up close within just a few miles of the Falls—relaxing as you cruise a section of the famous Erie in Lockport, NY, or musing at the Freedom Monument along the river at nearby Lewiston, or celebrating the 200th anniversary of the at Fort Niagara in nearby Youngstown, a most picturesque site where the powerful Niagara opens up into beautiful Lake .

Enjoy the colors as we leave the Falls and head toward Vermont, enjoying stops at Saratoga Spring, NY and Woodstock, VT with an overnight near the Gorge at Queche, VT.

Friday and Saturday, enjoy Circle Tours and the beautiful fall colors of the Vermont countryside, while touring and tasting at a cheese factory, checking out the Rock of Ages Quarry, and the Morse Family sugar maple farm, visiting the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, Shelburne Farms, exploring the Church Street Mall, the Ethan Allen Homestead. Our tours will culminate on Saturday afternoon with a relaxing 1-1/2 hour discovery cruise on beautiful Lake Champlain. We hope to also catch sunset over the lake before heading back to the Trapp Family Lodge to relax as you choose—at the Athletic Center pool or fitness room, or at the Lodge for its nightly movie.
