Township High School District 211 Summer School 2021 Activity/Athletic Camps Activity/Athletic Camps/Exploration Workshops All District 211 schools offer camps for students from incoming freshman to senior level. Since some are held in the morning, many students will have to choose between an activity/athletic camp and an academic course. Because of irregular schedules, students will not be able to benefit from bus service. Camps are open to all District 211 residents. Students enrolled in summer camps may receive a partial refund for only the following reasons: continued on next page Township High School District 211 27 • any long-term illness or injury causing withdrawal from Summer School. The refund request must be accompanied by a doctor’s verification of the medical condition causing withdrawal. • a death in the immediate family. A school administrator and the District Summer School administrator must approve all refunds which will be subject to a review of initial payment. Activity/Athletic Camps/Exploration Workshops Fees Non-credit Athletic/Activity Camps $25 per semester Non-credit Competitive Baseball $50 fee Non-credit Competitive Softball $50 fee • All Athletic Camp students must have a current physical examination on file before they will be allowed to participate (includes Class of 2025). Registration dates for all incoming 9th graders and current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are: First Semester Registration – Online registration begins April 5 at CHS, SHS, and HEHS. Second Semester Registration – Online registration begins April 7 at PHS and FHS. Athletic Camp Students ... Class of 2025 Students who plan to enroll in an athletic camp: • Must present the school nurse with a completed physical exam form by May 21. • The physical form must be approved by the nurse PRIOR to first day of camp. • The physical exam must have been completed within the previous 13 months (on or after April 30, 2020). 28 2021 Summer School Catalog.
