From this factor, Uttaradit province is awake and developing the model of community welfare. So it brings to overview the work of Uttaradit Community Welfare Fund Network in Thailand (Ut-CWFN). The study was qualitative research. The instrument used in this study was in-depth interview. The objectives of the study were 1) to the process of implementation of (Ut-CWFN) and 2) to pattern of linkage and integration of (Ut-CWFN) by in – depth interviews and participant with 10 keys leader in (Ut-CWFN). -

120 วารสารวิจัยราชภัฏพระนคร สาขาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ปีที่ 12 ฉบับที่ 1 (มกราคม-มิถุนายน 2560) บทความวิชาการ NAM PHI STEEL – THAI SUSTAINABLE QUALITY STEEL Adul Phuk-in Industrial Technology Program, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Uttaradit Rajabhat University, Uttaradit E-mail: [email protected] ABSTRACT Although iron ore could be found in several sources of Thailand, the trace of civilization of iron ore utilization was found at the source of iron ore in Ban Nam Phi located at Thong Saen Khan District in Uttaradit Province, whereas, Nam Phi steel has been smelted since the past to present. In addition, there were some traces found from an old kiln that was built for over 100 years and found at Ban Nam Phi that such method was the traditional local wisdom of villagers started from mining to ore dressing, ore smelting, ore forming by forging, and producing products that are the uniqueness of Nam Phi Ironsmith Family that is still produced in the local area. Such process was the production of products made of Nam Phi steel with methodology, process, and forming of smelted Nam Phi steel as products. To study on this type of steel, scholars have conducted field studies in the area of Ban Nam Phi in order to test Nam Phi steel with engineering methodology. Consequently, we could perceive inheritance of characteristics of excellent and sustainable steel production of Thailand. Local wisdom of ironsmith and scientific testing used in the research enabled us to perceive quality of Nam Phi iron ore while ore smelting and engineering testing enabled us to perceive properties of good Nam Phi steel from the past to present. -

Smelter center was designed as refractory bricks. Its walls were plastered by mixing natural clay and local materials, such as husk, sand and water. Steel pipes from the blower were connected to the combustion chamber. It took three days to dry the smelter. The strength of smelter’s walls is tested via Rebound Hammer Test machine. The strength was 109.65 kg/cm2 before smelting. The smelting used 20 kg of Nam Phi iron ore, resulting in 2.3 kg of formed Nam Phi iron rods. Then the Test Pieces were fabricated for Vickers Hardness Test (HV) which included the Test Piece Group A and Test Piece Group B. For hardness value, it could be found that the average hardness value of Group A (105.67 HV) was higher than the value of Group B (100.30 HV) . Microstructure of samples were determined using scanning electron microscope technique. The SEM micrographs showed that the combination of ferrites and pearlite structure was observed. -

Namtok Chat Trakan National Park Namtok Chat Trakan National Park is the 55th national park of Thailand, established in 1987 and covering a total area of 543 square kilometres in Chat Trakan and Nakhon Thai districts in Phitsanulok province. Generally it provides nice surroundings, scenic viewpoint and the first historic art of human being, the animal symbols carved. Geography Overall, the Namtok Chat Trakan National Park features rugged mountain ranges with the higest peak, “Phu Kai Hoi”, towers at 1,277 metres above mean sea level. The watershed gives birth to the main tributaries of the Phak and Lam Khwae Noi rivers. The vast rocky formations mainly consist of sandstone. Climate The summer season is from March to May (25-29 degree Celsius), rainy season is from June to October and winter is from November to February. Flora and Fauna Mixed deciduous and deciduous dipterocarp forests can be found in the national park including Pterocarpus The national park is home to small animals such macrocarpus, Shorea roxburghii, S. obtusa, Dipterocarpus as Northern Red Muntjac, Wild Boar, Lesser Oriental alatus, Anisoptera costata, Lithocarpus sp., Mangifera Chevrotain, Black Giant Squirrel, Northern Treeshrew sp. and Calamus sp. as well as various kinds of and various kinds of birds such as Crested Sepent- bamboo. eagle, Asian Barred Owlet and Olive-backed Pipit. 72 National Parks in Thailand 57-12-106_052-112 Eng New19-05_Y-Coated.indd 72 5/19/15 8:15 PM Getting There ❚ From Phitsanulok, take the Phitsanulok-Lom Sak ❚ Alternatively, take Asia-Phitsanulok-Uttaradit route. route.
