But the amulet drew the attention of Victor Von Doom and , the latter of whom warned Conan of its dangerous power. Together, the trio tracked Kulan Gath to Egypt. In a battle that nearly cost Strange his life, he discovered that Gath’s amulet was a fake, but it bore a curse that Conan was able to turn against Kulan Gath. Along with Elektra, Strange began gathering a team needed to defeat Kulan Gath——permanently. First they arranged a trade of souls between Daniel Drumm and his sibling Doctor Voodoo to bring the latter back to life.
