NABBY NEWS I Volume 45 • No 6 PAGE 3 OF 4 APACHE RELAY!

One of Nabby’s most exciting EPIC events took place last Wednesday - the annual Apache Relay! The entire Sr. Camp was divided into Red, White, Green and Blue teams and sported T-shirts in their team color. Of course, after the campers took scissors to their shirts, most of them had headbands, wristbands and various ninja-like headgear to match! The Red team got off to a fast start, as they were the first team to find and unwrap their baton. Throughout the relay, which consisted of baseball, basketball, tennis, swimming, soccer, gymnastics, ping pong and music challenges (among others), the Red and Green teams were neck and neck. Although the Red team reached the final fire building event first, the Green team, led by Zack (Tulane), Tess (Jackson), Andrew (Columbia) and runner Sean Vogel, was very successful in providing a wind block for their fire and came away with an exciting victory!
