Nestled among 300 acres of mature hardwoods, Bay Harbor’s Preserve neighborhood offers perhaps the most diverse palette of outstanding vistas and home sites in the entire community. The emerald fairways of the Preserve Golf Course … the endless blues of Lake Michigan … the colors of the tranquil woods — all that is magical about Bay Harbor is part of the Preserve experience. An abundance of naturally forested areas and expansive lots give each home a true sense of privacy. Many of the homes in the Preserve offer amazing water views from a plateau perch, and most include their own private frontage on the lake. These homes are true masterpieces, designed to take advantage of each location’s distinctive attributes and each family’s lifestyle and preferences. The Preserve is the quintessential storybook setting for a one-of-a-kind retreat. Each unique, custom home pays homage to the surroundings. Natural materials such as wood and stone are thoughtfully integrated into the architecture and landscaping. Meandering boardwalks and stone pathways may lead to a secluded place for quiet introspection, an outdoor gathering spot or the water’s edge. A riot of color bursts forth from flower gardens and gently sloping lawns in spring and summer. Autumn is no less stunning as the woods turn to shades of gold and red. No matter the season, every home, every natural area along the winding neighborhood roads instills a sense of quiet splendor. This spectacular enclave is both beautiful and convenient to all of the action in Bay Harbor. West Park borders the Preserve to the west and is quite walkable.
