It has been widely believed that there should be a natural hybrid population in the distribution of Pinus massoniona Lamb. and Pinus hangshuanensis Hsia, that is, the excessive type of external form between Pinus massoniana and Pinus taiwanensis exist. This paper mainly discusses the traits and clustering analysis of coniferous lozeng in Huangshan scenic area. This study will provide a theoretical basis for the classification of long and outstanding Huangshan Song and so on. At the same time, it will provide reference for the phenomenon of gene seepage between the two species. Introduction 1.1. Research background Huangshan Song distribution in eastern China’s subtropical high mountains, more than 700m above sea level. Masson pine is widely distributed in the subtropical regions of China, at the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, vertically distributed below 700m above sea level, the upper reaches of the Yangtze River area, the vertical height of up to 1200 - 1500m or so. In the area of Huangshan Song and Pinus massoniana, an overlapping area of Huangshan Song and Pinus massoniana was formed between 700 - 1000m above sea level. -

Read Full License Page 1/25 Abstract Tourism is a way of recreation, which involves a person’s travel to another city, country, and even to another continent. Travel is different, and any connoisseur can choose a vacation to their liking: active, educational, wellness, religious, beach, or rural. Tourism helps people escape from everyday problems, learn something new, and get an unforgettable aesthetic satisfaction. Also, such a vacation helps not only to learn the cultures of other countries and peoples but also contributes to the personal development of any traveller. In general, it allows people to combine relaxation with learning new things. However, different tourists have different preferences, so their motivation to visit specic cities, countries, or regions are also different. This study aims to provide tourists in China with an up to date and specic typology based on centricity and experience. Besides, the motive behind the work presented in this paper is to identify the different types of tourists in China, analyse their preferences, and as a result, create their holistic prole. Several studies from China already have information on the factors that inuence this typology. -

1 The cultural and spiritual values of nature in Chinese World Heritage Sites: A comparative study of Fanjingshan, Mount Wutai and Mount Taishan By Xindan Hu Registration No. 941113370080 MSc Forest and Nature Conservation Policy Wageningen University August 2019 Supervised by: Dr. B (Bas) Verschuuren, Forest and Nature Conservation Policy Group 2 Abstract With the increasing awareness of the inseparable relationship between nature and culture in the World Heritage Convention, the cultural and spiritual values of nature start to be taken into account in the protection of World Heritage sites. According to the guidebook “Cultural and Spiritual Significance of Nature: Guidance for its role in Protected and Conserved Area Governance”, the cultural and spiritual values of nature can be classified into 7 types: Aesthetic-Perceptual or Scenic value; Recreational and therapeutic value; Artistic, traditional and contemporary value; Information, knowledge and educational value; Historical, ethnological value; Linguistic traditions, both written and oral value; Religious and spiritual value. To better understand the culture and spiritual values of nature of indigenous or local people in Chinese World Heritage sites, I analysed the official UNESCO World Heritage site documents to assess and compare their value types and the related management activities of three Chinese World Heritage sites: Fanjingshan, Mount Wutai and Mount Taishan. I analyzed the management of three sites using the biocultural approach. The results show that the management of Fanjingshan is most concerned about CSV through biocultural approach. While for Mount Wutai and Mount Taishan, the involvement of indigenous or local people in the management insufficiently meets the criteria of the biocultural approach.
