1712 First time MOSDORFER was mentioned, acting as a Hammer Mill in Weiz, Austria
1948 MOSDORFER entering into overhead line fittings.
2008 MOSDORFER acquired DAMP Srl, Italy
2008 MOSDORFER started manufacturing facilities for Spacer Dampers in Khopoli, India under the name Mosdorfer India Pvt. Ltd. (MIPL)
2011 Mosdorfer India started manufacturing complete overhead Transmission line fittings & Accessories in Nashik, Maharashtra & also shifted the Spacer Damper facility from Khopoli to Nashik

With the increasing energy demand and India's target to deploy long haul UHVAC & UHVDC transmission lines, Mosdorfer India Pvt. Ltd. started its operations in Nashik in 2011 to be a part of India's prestigious energy chapter by meeting customer requirements and providing high performance quality and reliable products for 400kV & above voltage levels.

Mosdorfer India is also the authorized licensee of Damp s.r.l., Italy, who is the market leaders for damping systems in transmission lines, and is now a subsidiary company of Mosdorfer GmbH, to manufacture type tested designs of spacer dampers.
Damp is one of the first manufacturers of Spacer Dampers with a remarkable experience of more than 30 years. Over 4 million DAMP Spacer Dampers upto eight bundle conductors for any voltage up to 1000 kV are successfully in operation throughout the world.
Mosdorfer India Pvt. Ltd. Plant is equipped with machineries and testing equipment for manufacturing of complete range Overhead Transmission Line fittings. Testing equipments are available for conducting:
