ON RELEASE OF ELECTIONS RESULT FOR THE ELECTION OF TIRANA MUNICIPALITY COUNCIL, TIRANA REGION, FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS OF JUNE 30, 2019

The Central Elections Commission, in its meeting on July 11, 2019, with the participation of:

Reviewed the issue with the following

OBJECT: On the release of the elections result for the election of Tirana Municipality Council, Tirana Region, for local government elections of June 30, 2019

LEGAL REFERENCE: Article 21, point 7, article 23, letter "a", article 123 of the Law No. 10019, dated 29.12.2008 "Electoral Code of the Republic of Albania", as amended.

The Central Elections Commission, after reviewing the submitted documentation and proposals,

NOTES

The territory of Tirana Municipality election zone is divided into 13 EAZs. The CEC verifies and issues the result for the election zone, based on the tabulation of results issued by each CEAZ in the respective election zone. At the end of the process of delivery of the Aggregate Tables of Results and Tables of Result for each voting center for Tirana Municipal Council from the 13 CEAZs of this municipality, the CEC

On release of elections result for the election of Tirana Municipality Council, Tirana Region, for local government elections of June 30, 2019 1 issues the result for this election zone, following the procedures provided for in Article 123 of the Code.

Before completing the Aggregate Table of Results for the election of Tirana Municipality Council, the Tables of Results for the candidates of municipality council in VCs in these CEAZs, completed by the counting teams, were compared with the Aggregate Tables of Results adopted by the CEAZ no.29, CEAZ no.30, CEAZ no.31, CEAZ no.32, CEAZ no.33, CEAZ no.34, CEAZ no.35, CEAZ no.36, CEAZ no.37, CEAZ no.38, CEAZ no.39, CEAZ no.40, CEAZ no.41 and their result entered in the electronic system, according to which:

- The Aggregate Tables of Results adopted by CEAZ no.29, CEAZ no.30, CEAZ no.31, CEAZ no.32, CEAZ no.33, CEAZ no.34, CEAZ no.35, CEAZ no.36, CEAZ no.37, CEAZ no.38, CEAZ no.39, CEAZ no.40, and CEAZ no.41, include the result of all the tabulation of results of VCs, part of EAZs.

- By comparing the tabulation of results for each voting center with the aggregate tables of resuots of the respective EAZ and their result entered in the electronic system, the following discrepancies in the figures were noted:

The CEC will adopt by a decision the Aggregate Table of Results for the election of municipality council Tirane, Tirane Region, with the corrected figures, based on the original tabulation of results of each VC of this Municipality, as completed by the ounting team.

FOR THESE REASONS

The Central Elections Commissions, based on article 21, item 7, article 23, item 1, letter a, and article 123 of the law no.10019, dated 29.12.2009, “The Electoral Code of the Republic of Albania”, as amended:

DECIDED:

1.To adopt the Aggregate Table of Results for the election of Tirana Municipality Council, Tirane Region, attached to this decision. 2. This decision comes immediately into effect. 3. This decision can be appealed in the Electoral College, Tirana Court of Appeals, within 5 days after its publication.
