Not too much going on around here. Monday is Columbus Day (US) and Thanksgiving Day (CAN). Our school community continues to teach, develop and support our children. October is the Month of the Most Holy Rosary, Respect Life Month, National Arts and Humanities Month, and National Pastor Appreciation Month. Like I said, not much going on, but we keep on loving and supporting each other through this extraordinary Ordinary Time. Come join us on Wednesday evenings after Mass this month to pray the rosary for every one of the above mentioned intentions, or bring your own intentions with you. We don’t mind. The only thing I can think to do is to bring our worries and hopes to the Lord. He knows what He is about. His love is everlasting.

~ 4 ~ GOD REVEALED TO THE NATIONS What wonderful images we have today of the reign of God! Isaiah speaks to us of a great feast—a heavenly feast—a feast of abundance with rich foods and choice wines. It is the Lord’s own affair, Isaiah explains, when God will unite all nations, dry every tear, and destroy death forever. Then, too, will the entire earth rejoice in the Lord and bask in God’s saving grace. Jesus speaks of heaven in terms of a feast as well.
