SIMON-FISET PIANO COMPETITION 2020 RESULTS

Hello wonderful SMTA colleagues. This year’s Simon-Fiset Piano Competition was held at Cornish College of the Arts on February 1 and 2 and was a wonderful and busy event. Thirteen instructors were represented by nearly sixty of the Seattle area’s most-talented, young pianists.

SMTA hosted two excellent judges, Dr. Jody Graves of Eastern Washington University and Dr. Justin Krawitz of the University of Northern Colorado. They put in two tireless days and helped to create a positive and encouraging environment for all the young musicians. We appreciate their efforts, thoughtful deliberations, and always upbeat attitudes and rapport!
