A fair entry of store cattle this week between suckled calf sales, met a good trade and demand for all on offer. A grand trio of 15/16mo South Devon steers from Mr. R.K. Rundle of Kestle Mill topped the day at £1,005. A pair of 14 month old Limousin x steers from Messrs. E.W. & J.D.T.R. Rolling of Mount Ambrose sold at £845 with young Hereford crosses from the same farm to £730. Leading the heifers at £775 were a young pair of Devon x Charolais for Mr. B.J. Maycock of Rosenannon.

A similar number of calves forward to recent weeks but overall better quality and improved demand and trade across the board. A British Blue x bull and heifer calf from Mr. C.W.
