Attraversato il ponte sul fiume Sangro, che qui riceve l’affluente Torrente Fondillo, si segue brevemente la sterrata che porta all’ampio piazzale dove si parcheggia l’auto. Qui ci sono anche gli uffici e la foresteria del parco e potrebbe essere richiesto un pagamento per il parcheggio. Quindi ci si incammina lungo la Val Fondillo su una strada sterrata che passa a fianco della vecchia segheria di Opi, con il limpidissimo torrente Fondillo poco distante. Bisogna seguire la val Fondillo fino ad incontrare dopo pochi minuti un ponte con un cartello. Dopo aver attraversato il torrente, si segue il sentiero F1 sulla sinistra che per un po’ costeggia il torrente, ricco di vegetazione ripariale di salici arbustivi. Qua e là nella valle si incontrano anche salici bianchi e pioppi. Il sentiero, prima largo, dopo poco piega sulla destra e si fa più stretto cominciando a risalire attraverso la faggeta che si inerpica nel sottobosco.

    THE SANGRO VALLEY RESEARCH PROJECT (ABRUZZO): EXCAVATION AND RESEARCH AT COLLE SANT’IANNI (VILLETTA BARREA, PESCASSEROLI), 1997-2000 The ‘Sangro Valley Research Project’ was initiated in 1994, organised and in part directed by Prof. John Lloyd† (Istitute of Archaeology, University of Oxford) who sadly died in 1999. It was co-ordinated with the British School at Rome who offered financial and material support, and further funds were provided by the British Academy, The Roman Society, and the Craven Committee. The basic scope of the Project was to analyse the settlement and landscape sequence of different zones of the broad valley of the river Sangro in the Abruzzo region of east central Italy spanning the periods from early prehistory to the medieval epoch. The Project featured a wide methodology, combining field/surface landscape archaeology, geomorphological analysis, excavation, GIS, and ethnographic research). A detailed account of the aims, methods and initial results from the 1994-95 seasons was published in 1997 (Lloyd, Lock & Christie 1997). There were two distinct zones that formed the focus to this landscape project: 1) The site and territory of Monte Pallano, a late Iron Age or Samnite hillfort/town or oppidum in the middle valley, where excavations by the Soprintendenza Archeologica per l’Abruzzo had already identified various levels of consistent settlement and religious activity extending fully into the second century AD; our Project contributed to the archaeology of this settlement and aimed to locate Monte Pallano into

    ORIGINE E VALIDITA’ DEL PIANO DI INTERVENTO Il piano d’intervento operativo per la gestione e la conservazione del camoscio appenninico nel PNALM, oggetto di questo documento, è Il prodotto finale previsto dall’Azione C2 del progetto LIFE + COORNATA. Questo progetto è nato dalla collaborazione tra tutti i Parchi interessati dalla presenza attuale e futura della specie - Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise (PNALM), Parco Nazionale della Majella (PNM), Parco Nazionale del Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga (PNGSML), Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini (PNMS), Parco Regionale del Sirente Velino (PRSV) – ed ha lo scopo di garantirne la conservazione a lungo termine. Al momento della stesura del Progetto, la popolazione del PNALM mostrava segni di sofferenza, come ad esempio: • diminuzione nel numero degli animali osservati, dai 645 animali contati nel 2005, ai 518 nel 2009; • il tasso di sopravvivenza al primo anno (rapporto tra numero di yearling di un dato anno e i piccoli osservati l’anno precedente) registrato in questi ultimi 10 anni ha oscillato tra il 20 ed il 70%, con un valore medio del 53%, nonostante l’indice riproduttivo (numero di piccoli/femmine >3 anni) fosse dell’89%;il tasso di sopravvivenza al primo anno di vita nel 2009 e 2010, secondo i dati raccolti in quattro aree campione, è sceso al 15-20%, ampiamente inferiore al dato minimo registrato nel 1993; • una popolazione destrutturata, con una ridotta frazione delle classi giovanili (subadulti di 2-3 anni e adulti giovani), soprattutto a carico delle femmine: i conteggi estivi effettuati nelle aree più rappresentative del PNALM indicano infatti che le femmine giovani (2-5 anni) costituiscono solo il 6,2% degli animali osservati; • decesso di vari soggetti in corso di anestesia per cause attribuibili ad insufficienza respiratoria.

    Ministero della Salute DIREZIONE GENERALE DELLA DIGITALIZZAZIONE, DEL SISTEMA INFORMATIVO SANITARIO E DELLA STATISTICA UFFICIO III Si forniscono di seguito i risultati dell’analisi condotta sui dati 2012 della Regione Abruzzo rilevati attraverso il sistema informativo per il monitoraggio dell’assistenza domiciliare (SIAD). Tale sistema istituito, nell’ambito del Nuovo Sistema Informativo Sanitario (NSIS), con decreto ministeriale del 17 dicembre 2008 e successive modificazioni (G.U. n. 6 del 9 gennaio 2009) mira a costruire una base dati integrata a livello nazionale, incentrata sul paziente, dalla quale rilevare informazioni in merito agli interventi sanitari e socio-sanitari erogati in maniera programmata da operatori afferenti al Servizio Sanitario Nazionale (SSN), nell’ambito dell’assistenza domiciliare. L’analisi è stata condotta attraverso l’applicazione delle seguenti due misure ai dati trasmessi dalla regione Abruzzo relativamente ai Comuni individuati e ricompresi nelle macro aree: Valle Subequana, Val Fino – Vestina, Basso Sangro – Trigno, Valle Roveto. Misure Numero di persone con età maggiore o uguale a 65 anni/ 75 anni prese in carico (misura 1); Numero di accessi pro capite (misura 2).     Cities call for a more sustainable and equitable European future An open letter to the European Council and its Member States Tuesday 30th April 2019, President of the European Council, Heads of States and Governments of the European Union Member States, We, the undersigned mayors and heads of local governments have come together to urge the Heads of States and Governments of the Member States to commit the European Union (EU) and all European institutions to a long-term climate strategy with the objective of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050 – when they meet at the Future of Europe conference in Sibiu, Romania on 9 May, 2019. The urgency of the climate crisis requires immediate action, stepping up our climate ambition and pursuing every effort to keep global temperature rise below 1.5C by mid-century, as evidenced by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5C. Current energy and climate policies in place globally, set the planet on a global warming pathway of 3°C. We are reminded of the inadequacy of our response to climate change, by the thousands of young people demonstrating each week on the streets of European cities - and around the world. We cannot let the status quo jeopardise their future and those of millions of European citizens. We owe it to the next generation to make more ambitious commitments to address climate change at all levels of government and in every aspect of European policy-making. We acknowledge and support the positions of the European Parliament and of the Commission to pursue net-zero emissions as the only viable option for the future of Europe and the world.
