This year’s Christmas program will look a little different as it has in past years. Each class will be performing a song and you will have the opportunity to view the entire school performance virtually. There will be a professional video available for pre-purchase at a cost of $7 per family. You will find the order form below and the students will be coming home with a paper form later in the week.

Holy Family School Participates in Santa’s Helpers Toy Drive 2020

Santa’s Helpers Toy Drive 2020 kicked-off today, and as in years past, this is a wonderful project for Holy Family School to participate in and help the needy children in our area during the Christmas Holidays. Bring in any UNWRAPPED, new toy, book and/or game for infants to pre-teens, boys, and girls. We will send out additional information tomorrow regarding the cut-off for getting your gift to school.

Thank You From St. Margaret Catholic School

We received a beautiful “Thank You” note from St. Margaret Catholic School after our Holy Family community jumped in so quickly and so selflessly during our turbulent hurricane season to assist in their recovery and rebuilding. We just wanted to share their warmest words of gratitude.

Home and School Christmas Fundraiser

Our HFS Home and School Association is such an important and vital part of our everyday planning and events for the students. They have teamed up with Honey Baked for a special fundraiser during the month of December. Please see the information below and order your office Christmas party or family Christmas ham today!

Time and Talent Hours Through the HFS Home and School Association

The HFS Home and School Association is looking for approximately 4 volunteers that are available to assist in setting up the theater next Monday, December 7, and Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Port Allen High School. They will be getting the Christmas trees delivered first thing Monday morning and will be decorating the trees, the stage and setting up the creche starting at approximately 8:00 am both days, for the Holy Family School Virtual Christmas Program this year. If you are available and would like to earn some of your time and talent hours, please contact Home and School President, Alyssa Segura, at [email protected].

Time and Talent Interest Over the Christmas Break

Each year, before we kick-off our Annual Open House during Catholic School’s Week, we like to have a day or two for some campus clean-up time and grounds beautification. This is even more important in our current COVID phase, because we want to be sure that prospective parents feel just as comfortable stepping on to our campus as one of our existing parents would should they need to step on to campus for something. The ideal time for us to have the first day or two would be between Christmas and New Year. If you think you would like to earn some of your Time and Talent hours during this time, please email, our Advancement Director, Mrs. Annette Fitzgerald at [email protected]. Once we see how much interest there is, we will then send out information regarding work days and times.
