Sadly, at this present time of crisis it is impossible for us to gather together or to bless the oils. Thanks to modern technology, however, it is possible for us to reaffirm our commitment to ministry together and this service will be streamed on our Diocesan Facebook page and website to enable us to do so. We hope you will feel able to join in with the service from home. We especially hope that priests, deacons and lay ministers will feel able to join in with the renewal of commitment to ministry at the appropriate point in the service. Our brothers and Sisters of the Nordkirche are welcoming their partner churches to a weekend of activities; therefore, please pray that the church's role at this event will be a real celebration of its ongoing contribution to the life of the city. At the same time, the University of Rostock is celebrating its 500th anniversary. Please pray for staff and students of its theological faculty.
