Stand By For ACTION! Gerry Anderson’s Projects Are Still GO There’s good news from Andersonland! Yes, it’s true… even as we are all mourning the loss of Gerry’s creative genius, we have been given a reason to celebrate. Gerry’s youngest son, Jamie Anderson, has picked up the torch. He has just unveiled www.gerryanderson.co.uk, and although it is full of information, pics and videos of all the Anderson shows we know and love, it’s much more than that. It’s also a venue to announce brand new Gerry Anderson productions. Considering how prolific a creator Gerry was, we shouldn’t be surprised to find that he left behind many unfinished projects. Jamie says: “They’ve all got the Anderson magic. There are four of those projects that we’re working and developing right now. None of them are what I call reimaginings. There’s one book and TV project that he was working on for two years that, for me, takes the best elements of an Anderson show and elegantly puts them into a brand new setting. I’m really excited about that one. The others are new but all true to the Anderson spirit.” So against all odds, the future will still be FAB. We can’t wait! Support Jamie in keeping his father’s legacy alive by checking out the new website at www.gerryanderson.co.uk and signing up for updates.
