TEMPORADA 2020-2021 MÚSICA Y DANZA AUDITORIO Y CENTRO DE CONGRESOS “VÍCTOR VILLEGAS” TEMPORADA 2020-2021 MÚSICA y DANZA Viernes, 11 septiembre 2020 ORQUESTA SINFÓNICA DE LA REGIÓN DE MURCIA Dvorak – Sinfonía nº 9, Nuevo Mundo Viernes, 25 septiembre 2020 ORQUESTA SINFÓNICA DE LA REGIÓN DE MURCIA Beethoven – Sinfonía nº 6, Pastoral OSRM La Fundación Orquesta Sinfónica de la Región de Murcia (OSRM) se constituye en septiembre de 2002 y, en la actualidad, está compuesta por una plantilla de 49 profesores todos ellos escogidos profesionales formados en su mayoría en los conservatorios de la Región. La agrupación ha recibido a directores invitados de renombre internacional como Enrique García Asensio, Pablo Heras-Casado, Alexander Vedernikov, Támas Vásáry, Leo Brouwer o Dirk Vermeulen, entre otros, y ha colaborado con solistas de reconocido prestigio como Mischa Maisky, Montserrat Caballé, Ainhoa Arteta, Carlos Moreno, Joaquín Achúcarro, Javier Perianes, Jesús Reina o Trío Arriaga, entre otros, así como los conjuntos vocales Orfeón Donostiarra y Orfeón Pamplonés. La OSRM ofrece sendos ciclos de abono en Murcia -cuyos conciertos son emitidos en Radio Clásica- y en Cartagena, así como Conciertos Escolares y Conciertos en Familia. Destaca también su participación en las temporadas de las sociedades filarmónicas Pro Música de Murcia y Pro Música de Águilas, así como en numerosos Festivales y conciertos extraordinarios en los que se han realizado maridajes musicales con intérpretes de la talla de Noa, Joan Manuel Serrat, Omara Portuondo, Milton Nascimento, Gregory Porter, Armando Manzanero o Jane Birkin, entre otros. Ha realizado giras y actuaciones por distintas comunidades españolas, destacando sus actuaciones en el Auditorio Nacional, Teatro Real, Auditorio de Galicia, Teatro Villamarta de Jerez, Real Monasterio de San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Palacio de La Almudaina de Palma de Mallorca o en el Baluarte de Pamplona, entre otras muchas. Viernes, 16 octubre 2020 ORQUESTA SINFÓNICA DE LA REGIÓN DE MURCIA ANTONIO GARCÍA EGEA, violín DAVID APELLÁNIZ, violonchelo CARLOS DOMÍNGUEZ NIETO, director Brahms – Concierto para violín y violonchelo Albéniz – Paisajes Ibéricos ANTONIO GARCÍA EGEA Antonio García Egea (Cieza-Murcia, 1989) Comienza sus estudios musicales en el conservatorio de su ciudad natal, bajo la tutela de Concepción Fernández, y posteriormente, en el conservatorio de Murcia con Vicente Cobacho. En 2006 ingresa en el Conservatorio Superior de Murcia con Joaquín Palomares. Estos años marcan el devenir de su carrera obteniendo primeros premios en los concursos de Molina de Segura, Festival Internacional de Orquestas de Jóvenes y el concurso nacional jóvenes intérpretes “Ciudad de Xátiva” en el que, además, es galardonado con la beca del concurso. Posteriormente, cursa sendos másteres en la prestigiosa Universidad Mozarteum de Salzburgo, y en el Conservatorio Royal de Bruselas. Con tan solo 21 años, y durante 5 temporada toca en la Orquesta del Palau de les Arts de Valencia, codirigida entonces por Lorin Maazel y Zubin Metha. Allí estará también dirigido por otros maestros como Valery Gergiev, George Petre, Riccardo Chailly, Vladimir Jurowski, Omer Meir Wellber, Nicola Luisotti, Plácido Domingo, Pablo Heras Casado, entre otros. Cabe destacar el éxito obtenido por su versión del Concierto para violín de Brahms con la Orquesta Sinfónica de la Región de Murcia: “…Antonio García Egea, quien a sus 21 años se ha manifestado como uno de los incuestionables talentos de la interpretación violinística” (La verdad, 2011). También ha sido distinguido por la Asociación Pro Música de Murcia como “Pro Músico del Año 2012” por su trayectoria como músico en el ámbito solístico y música de cámara, y ha obtenido, por unanimidad del jurado, la beca del año 2012 de la Fundación Galindo de Calasparra. En 2015 obtiene plaza por oposición en la Orquesta Sinfónica de Bilbao, y recientemente, ha ganado, por oposición, la cátedra de violín en el Conservatorio Superior de Murcia. Además, es Concertino invitado de la Orquesta Sinfónica de la Región de Murcia. DAVID APELLÁNIZ Formado musicalmente en Francia por Jacques Doué. Alumno durante su formación superior de Frans Helmerson en la Escuela de Música Reina Sofía. Ha recibido los consejos N. Gutman, D. Geringas, B. Pergamenchikov, B. Greenhouse, P. Müller, Trio Beaux Arts, Cuarteto Hagen y Cuarteto Italiano. La persona que más decisivamente ha influido en su relación con la música es el maestro Xavier Gagnepain, reputadísimo músico francés. Actúa como solista con la Orquesta de Sevilla, Orquesta Gulbenkian de Lisboa, Orquesta de Extremadura, Ensemble Nacional de Lyon, Orquesta de Córdoba, Orquesta Nacional de Honduras, Orquesta de Valencia, Sinfónica de la Región de Murcia, Orquesta Sinfónica de Barcelona, Orquesta de Granada, Orquesta de Cámara Reina Sofía, Sinfónica de Gijón, Filarmónica de Málaga, etc. en los más importantes ciclos y salas, como el Festival de Salzburgo, Festival de Lyon y Nice, Konzerthaus(Berlín), Festival “a Tempo” (Caracas), Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, Teatro Maestranza (Sevilla), Palau de la Música Catalana, Festival Internacional de Granada, Palacio de Festivales (Santander), Quincena Musical Donostiarra, etc. Ha realizado más de 15 grabaciones como solista, de entre las que cabría destacar sus recientes registros de las integrales de la música de cámara de Ravel y l de los tríos de Turina como miembro del Arriaga Piano Trio, para Naxos, Sony, Col-legno, Neos, Verso, RNE, etc. Acogidas todas ellas por revistas como Scherzo, Ritmo, Melomano y las internacionales BBC Magazine y Fanfare como trabajos de excelente nivel. Colabora regularmente como violonchelo solista con agrupaciones como las orquestas de Valencia, Navarra o Cadaqués y actúa habitualmente con prestigiosos músicos y formaciones nacionales e internacionales como Cuarteto Casals, N. Chumachenco, G. Causse, Rainer Schmith (Cuarteto Hagen), A. Meunier, P. Halffter, D. Masson, Paul MCCreesh, C. Apellániz, A.L. Castaño, J. L. Gallego, A. Rosado, J. Torre, A. Sukerlan, M. Borrego, Cuarteto Bacarisse, J. Puchades, Ashan Pillai, J. M. Román, etc. Es violonchelo solista de la Orquesta de Cámara Reina Sofía y miembro del prestigioso Arriaga Piano Trio. Imparte clases en numerosos cursos (Toledo, Málaga, Nancy…) y conservatorios e instituciones internacionales como JONDE, universidades de Panamá, Argentina, Honduras, Venezuela, Francia… Ha ocupado las cátedras de violonchelo de los conservatorios de Valencia y Aragón; ha sido coordinador de postgrados colaborando con prestigiosas universidades europeas y desde 2018 es Catedrático de Música y Artes Escénicas por oposición, en la especialidad violonchelo con destino en el Conservatorio Superior de Murcia. CARLOS DOMÍNGUEZ-NIETO Actual director titular de la Orquesta de Córdoba, Carlos Domínguez-Nieto, lo ha sido también del Teatro de Ópera de Eisenach y de la Ópera de Cámara de Múnich, en la que sigue siendo Principal Director Invitado. Además, dirige con regularidad varias de las más importantes orquestas alemanas y austríacas incluidas la WDR-Sinfonieorchester y la Gürzenich Orchester de Colonia, la Bruckner Orchester Linz, la Berliner Symphoniker, la Münchner Philharmoniker, Münchner Symphoniker y Münchner Rundfunkorchester en Múnich. Debutó en el Teatro Colón dirigiendo la Filarmónica de Buenos Aires (1995). En 1997/98 fue asistente de la Joven Orquesta Nacional de España y de la Münchner Jugendorchester, trabajando con Rostropovich y András Ligeti entre otros. En 1999 ganó por concurso el puesto de director asistente de Iván Fischer en la Orquesta Festival de Budapest. En 2001 ganó el primer premio en el Concurso Internacional de Dirección de Orquesta de la Fundación Oriente de Lisboa. Como director de ópera hizo su debut en Salzburgo (2000) con El cazador furtivo de Weber. Desde entonces ha dirigido más de 50 títulos del gran repertorio operístico y de ballet. En España ha dirigido la Orquesta de RTVE, Sinfónicas de Navarra y Castilla y León, las Filarmónicas de Gran Canaria y Málaga o Filharmonia de Galicia. También ha trabajado con orquestas internacionales como la Filarmónica de Varsovia, la Sinfónica de Hungría, la Orquesta de la Ópera Nacional de Hungría, la Metropolitana de Lisboa, Filarmónica de Buenos Aires y Sinfónica de Rosario (Argentina), la Orquesta de la Universidad Nacional en México, las Sinfónicas de Aragua, Falcón, Guárico, Mérida en Venezuela, así como la Ópera de La Paz en Bolivia. Ha grabado para Sony-BMG y la Radio de Baviera, con la Sinfónica de Múnich, la Orquesta de la Radio de Múnich, Sinfónica de la Radio de Colonia (WDR) y Filarmónica de Gran Canaria entre otras, con solistas como Francisco Araiza, Olga Scheps, Wen-Sinn Yang o Ingolf Turban. Jueves, 5 noviembre 2020 ORQUESTA SINFÓNICA DE LA REGIÓN DE MURCIA MARIO CALVO, trombón Grondahl – Concierto para trombón Mendelssohn – Sinfonía nº 3, Escocesa MARIO CALVO Natural de Sagunto (Valencia), comienza sus estudios musicales en la sociedad musical “Lira Saguntina” de la mano de Jesús Juan Oriola, continuándolos en los Conservatorios Superiores de Valencia y Madrid donde los finaliza con premio de honor en las especialidades de trombón, música de cámara y bombardino, con el que gana su primera oposición como suboficial del Ministerio de Defensa. Está diplomado en interpretación superior con distinción por la Royal School of Music and Drama de Londres, en didáctica de las nuevas tendencias pedagógicas y posee el Master de Investigación Musical por la Universidad Internacional de la Rioja. Since the festival’s first edition in 2002, TIMF has been striving to assemble highly qualified musicians in order to build its own ensemble. In 2011, then Alexander Liebreich initiated a collaboration of musicians from Ensemble TIMF with the Munich Chamber Orchestra, thus for the first time building a truly international Festival Orchestra. From then on, the group was assembled annually, performing at home and abroad. At the opening of the new Tongyeong Concert Hall in 2014, TFO was again led by Alexander Liebreich and included musicians from Ensemble TIMF, Polish National Radio Orchestra of Katowice, and from major international symphony orchestras, such as NDR Hamburg, Munich Philharmonic, Kremerata Baltica, Osaka Philharmonic, Melbourne Symphony and Sydney Symphony Orchestra. In 2015, TFO truly became a musical centerpiece of the Tongyeong International Music Festival. Following the festival theme „Voyages“, the orchestra went abroad to play in Japan and China. Performing together with violinist Gidon Kremer and German conductor Christoph Poppen, the orchestra consisted of musicians mainly from Korea, Japan and China to create a musical bridge between the three countries.
