COST OF DAMAGES (TAB D) • Cost of damages to infrastructure is PhP 69,600,000.00, private property is PhP 1,375,000.00, and PhP 22,799,139.50 to agriculture with a total of PhP 93,774,139.50 E. COST OF ASSISTANCE • PhP 25,440.08 worth of relief assistance consisting of food and non-food items were provided to the affected families by the LGUs of Bulacan (PhP 17,906.00) and DSWD (PhP 7,534.08) F. Mayana, Sagay, Camiguin highway is impassable. • Alangilan Bridge, Sagay is passable to motorcycles only. 2. POWER and WATER SUPPLY • As of 8:00 PM 27 July 2012, there is no power supply in the Municipalities of Catarman and Sagay • Water Supply of Brgy. Poblacion, Mayana and part of Bonbon Sagay are interrupted due to damaged pipeline. III. PREPAREDNESS MEASURES UNDERTAKEN A. NATIONAL NDRRMC Operations Center has been downgraded to BLUE ALERT STATUS effective 5:00PM, 24 July 2012 and is continuously monitoring and disseminating 24 hour Public Weather Forecast, Gale Warning, and General Flood Advisories to all RDRRMCs/OCDRCs through SMS, facsimile and websites for further dissemination to their respective Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils (LDRRMCs) from the provincial to the municipal levels. 3 PAGASA is continuously providing NDRRMC OpCen with updates on Gale Warning, 24-Hour Public Weather Forecast, General Flood Advisories; detailed personnel at the NDRRMC OpCen for prompt coordination with their bureau. B. REGIONAL RDRRMC I OCDRC1 and PNP Infanta continuously monitoring the status of the missing fishermen. RDRRMC III Under alert status since 19, July 2012; continuously monitored the flooded areas in Bulacan and Pampanga, the status of evacuees in Pulilan, Bulacan, the suspension of classes and dam releases; Continuously disseminated NDRRMC Advisories – Gale Warning, Flood Advisory No. 2 for Pampanga River Basin, General Flood Advisory No. 4 Region III and Weather Forecast – to all provinces affected through SMS and facsimile for further dissemination to their respective LDRRMCs from the provincial down to the municipal level. Coordinated with PNPRO3 and AFP NOLCOM to augment the efforts being conducted by the LDRRMCs in the flooded areas. PRO 3 sent troops to the flood affected Brgys. of Tarlac since July 25, 2012 and continuously monitoring situations and providing assistance to the flood affected areas. PDRRMC Bulacan is closely monitoring Bustos Dam water releases; instructed LDRRMCs on the regular monitoring of rain gauges and water levels in all stations and alerted the residents living along Angat River from Norzagaray to Hagonoy for possible water level increase on 22 July 2012. o Bulacan LGU together with Pulilan Rescue provided 10 kg of rice, 5 packs of noodles and 4 cans of sardines to affected families. o DSWD III provided 31 packs (rice and canned goods) to the affected families. PDRRMC Pampanga distributed sandbags to various municipalities to augment sandbagging operations being conducted by LGUs and closely monitoring the situation in AOR. o MDRRMC Guagua is closely monitoring the Sapang Magui Dike. PDRRMC Tarlac conducted sandbagging operations at Brgy. Sta. Juliana, Capas and Brgy. Sta. Monica, Talimundok, Culatingan Balutu, Panalicsican, San Francisco, Minane and Caluluan, Conception Tarlac. Issued 1500 pcs. of sacks thru PDRRMC DART operatives to augment the sandbagging operations being conducted by BDRRMC Sta. Juliana and MDRRMC Capas. PDRRMC Tarlac, LDRRMCs, and partner agencies are still on alert status and are conducting damage and needs assessment in their AOR. LGU of Tarlac provided Php 10,206.00 worth of relief goods to the evacuees in Bacao Elementary School o MDRRMC Paniqui provided assistance to the evacuees and is closely monitoring the dike at Barangays Barangubong, Colibangbang and Nancamarinan sections o MDRRMC Gerona is closely monitoring the dikes in Brgy. Villa Paz, Gerona along Tarlac River. o MDRRMC Lapaz conducted an ocular inspection in the reported flooded areas. Chairperson Josefina T. Timoteo visited the landslide incident in Sta. Rita, Olongapo City to check on the road situation. Brgy. Old Cabalen and the City Engineering Office installed warning signs and immediately conducted clearing operations. RDRRMC IV-A Rizal LDRRMC/Os are on stand-by alert and closely monitoring the situation. OCD/RDRRMC IV-A coordinated with LDRRMO Rizal re the situation in their AOR. 4 RDRRMC IV-B Continuously disseminating the 24-hour Weather Forecast, Shipping Forecast and Gale warnings to PDRRMCs, CDRRMCs, LGUs and line member agencies trough SMS and facsimile; Updated the Facebook and Skype account to ensure the effective dissemination to the public and advised them to take appropriate actions. Coordinated with the local DRRMCs and LGUs; Placed their operations center on alert for any possible effects of Southwest Monsoon and the weather situation in the area of their responsibility Conducted Post Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA) in the municipality of Abra de Ilog led by OCD RD Cabrera. Coast Guard District Palawan and Regional Maritime Police Station IV-B is still conducting Search and Rescue Operations for the missing fishermen RDRRMC V OCD5 Opcen on heightened alert status; Continuous dissemination weather forecast to all RDRRMC members / Support agencies, LDRRMCs and local media and uploaded to the OCD-RDRRMC Facebook page to effectively ensure public safety particularly landslide and flood prone areas; Continuous coordination with PDRRMCs re weather situation and advised to closely monitor situation especially in low lying areas and report any untoward incident ICOW latest weather disturbance; Coordinated with PNP PPOs re incident in relation to the weather disturbance; Coordinated with PDRRMC Camarines Sur re flashflood casualties; Monitored the status of the Bicol River Basin area; RDRRMC VII OCD 7 closely monitoring the situation in coordination with PCG. Jagna MDRRMC responded and conducted rescue and clearing operations re whirlwind incident that occurred at 10:45 AM 27 July 2012 in four (4) Barangays in Jagna, Bohol. Damage assessment and interview was also conducted and relief goods were provided. RDRRMC VIII OCD 8 coordinated with Biliran PDRRMC and continuously monitoring flooding incident. Naval MDRRMC is facilitating evacuation of affected families for temporary shelter. RDRRMC X Ongoing clearing operations of debris by Provincial Engineering Office and DPWH along portion of highway at Brgy. Mayana and Alangilan Bridge in Sagay Municipality OCDRC X Operation center, Camiguin PDRRMC and MDRRMCs Mahinog, Sagay and Catarman are monitoring the situation. PDRRMC and MDRRMCs extended food assistance to the affected families. RDRRMC XI Conducted initial assessments in Davao City. Davao City Central 911 and USAR coordinated with the community residents for assessment, evacuation and conducted relief operations to the affected families. Matina BDRRMC conducted initial response and evacuation.
