DAY 1 DAY 1: WELCOME TO THE ARCTIC! Arrive at Svalbard Airport followed by an airport shuttle transfer to your accommodation for the night. After check-in, the rest of the day is free time to explore on your own. We recommend a visit to the Svalbard Museum to learn more about the region’s history as a hunting and mining outpost. DAY 2 DAY 2: SNOWMOBILING AT 78° NORTH Join a snowmobile expedition to beautiful Isfjord Radio at Kapp Linné, about 90 km west of Longyearbyen. During the expedition you will ride over glaciers, mountains and frozen fjords, and visit thrilling historical sites. You will get to experience a stillness and a light that is difficult to find in other places. If you are lucky, you may even glimpse the “king of the Arctic”, the polar bear*! Spend the night at Isfjord Radio. *Please note that polar bear, reindeer and seal sightings are not guaranteed. Attractions: Basecamp Isfjord Radio, Snowmobiling in Svalbard

DAY 3 DAY 3: & VAST WILDERNESS After a hearty breakfast, it’s time to head into beautiful Spitsbergen. The guide will choose today’s route depending on the weather and snow conditions, but you will visit the Russian mining town Barentsburg on our way back to Longyearbyen. Here you can get a feeling of what life looks like in an isolated, Arctic town and visit some of the historical Russian buildings. This will also be an opportunity to learn more about the history of Spitsbergen. You will arrive back in Longyearbyen in the afternoon. Spend the night in Longyearbyen. 1/2 DAY 4 DAY 4: DOG-SLEDDING ADVENTURE This morning you will be picked up at your hotel and driven to Trapper’s Station, where 90 friendly Alaskan huskies are eager to meet you. After an introduction on the logistics of mushing, you will get ready to lead your dog team on a thrilling ride. Once back at the station, you will help to take care of your team, unharness them and give them few hugs. Before heading back to town, you have chance to look around at authentic Trapper’s Station with many interesting items from trapping time, enjoy warm drink and few biscuits and hear some stories from mushing at Spitsbergen. DAY 5 DAY 5: DEPARTURE FROM LONGYEARBYEN Before departing this amazing place, the early part of your day is free for a stroll around Longyearbyen, a visit to the Svalbard Art Gallery, or some last-minute souvenir shopping. In the afternoon, take the shuttle bus to Svalbard Airport for your return flight to Oslo, from where you will continue to your final destination. Attractions: Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen
